Depression - Page 3 Empty Re: Depression

Post by mirren001 4th February 2015, 10:57 pm

At around 7 days or so post op I ended up a blubbering mess at GP , was there for something unrelated to my BA & GP happened to ask how I was doing , Q the uncontrollable tears, GP just kept handing me tissues ..bless , she didn't know what to do.Pain/discomfort, lack of sleep & even though you think you've prepared for it wonky/ strange looking boobs had all taken their toll on me.
Fortunately this weepy/low feeling soon disappeared once discomfort  had passed & I was back getting a decent sleep at night, wonky boobs took a little longer but I just ignored them & didn't scrutinise them so much in the early days which helped.
I found focusing on the following week & telling myself how much better I would feel by then helped & you do feel sooo much better come then!
Having been through it & knowing what I know now, good & bad bits ( more bad in the early days) I'd still do it all again in an instant.
Sending you a BIG HUG  Depression - Page 3 571992 in the meantime.XXX
