Depression
i hit a wall last night. Cried my eyes out wishing I'd never had my boobs done. Fed up of pain and not being able to do normal things. Has anyone else suffered this

Re: Depression
I am two weeks post op and I have been all over the shop. It has been very emotionally and physically draining. From what I have read lots of ladies go through the same thing so it's nice to know you are not alone. Take care and chin up xx

Re: Depression
Hi langers. It sounds like the booby blues to me. I had the same. Would just start crying as felt so helpless. It dosent help if you are getting a hard time from your fella. We forget that we have just had surgery, and it's so hard to not sleep properly, which as we all know makes you feel down. Also I'm a busy person , so to sit there a not do much was so hard. Why don't you take yourself out for a walk today? It really does help with the mind and is good for your healing. Big hugs xxxxxxxx

Re: Depression
I've been so nasty to my hubby. Then just broke down last night. I'm going out for a walk today. So hopefully should feel better. My moods are just all over the place.

Re: Depression
Awwwwww langers it's your hormones, they will be all over the place at the moment. Mine were and it's completely normal. Everybody that turned up on my door to help me, perhaps with housework I rolled my eyes at. Yet it was me that asked for the help. Have you been out much? I found even a walk round the town helped. Hormones are funny things. We can't control our emotions, but we can help it. Have you got relatives you can visit to get you out the house? I'm sending a massive hug your way to try and make you feel a bit better. Once you start to feel better you will love your boobies. How far PO op are you? Xxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: Depression
Two week post op. I only have my hubby. Family live miles away and friends at work. I went out the other day and a man walked straight in to me. I found myself turning round and swearing at him. So not like me. I'm going to shops today.

Re: Depression
Yes I was like really worried about people bumping into me. But it's so good to get out the house. It's a shame it's winter. Do you have snow ? If so be carful you don't slip. How about a pedicure or a manicure? That will make you feel good. If you feel guilty about your hubby, how about treating him to something . In my case it would be a special whiskey and a mountain bike magazine, or a dvd. Watch a movie together. It all makes you feel better. Xxx

Re: Depression
Two weeks PO isn't long at all. I found the first two weeks hard. Lack of sleep, uncomfortable. You are getting over the worst of it now. Xxx

Re: Depression
Hormones are a really common thing after ba. I'm sure I still had a touch of it up until 2 weeks ago. I compleatly lost my sex drive as well. Ben aflick could have walked through my door and said , how about it, I would have said no thanks. Can't believe I'm saying that. My hubby got on my nerves just talking. I tell you, men have it easy don't they! Xxxx

Happy shopping but no carrying heavy bags. Let me know how you get on!!! Hope you find something nice to buy. There are a few good movies out at the mo. Can't beat a good movie with some Ben and jerrys ice cream. My idea of heaven. Xxx

Re: Depression
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I feel you hun! I'm same po as you and having my good & bad days. I felt really good over the weekend then from Monday been in pain again. I'm feeling frustrated as can't do anything around the house, my toddler is upset because I can't cuddle her as much or pick her up at all. Husband is super busy at work yet still coming home and dealing with the kids & housework etc. I've also got a sick note for next week at work as I don't feel I can physically do my job yet.
So your not alone. Big hugs sending your way. Just think this part will all be over soon and we can enjoy our boobies in lovely bras! Xx

Re: Depression
It's hard isn't it. Maybe paint your nails or something to make you feel a bit more like you. Do you have any friends who could pop round for a cuppa that you could talk to?
Talking definitely helps, or maybe write down how your feeling if you feel you can't talk to him without getting angry? Xx
