Re: Where do I start?!
Hi Alt_Barbie just wanted to wish you luck on your boobie journey.
I'm not too far from you and also went with Transform 6 years ago because it was close. I was happy until I found out I had PIP's and they left me in the lurch.
For my second I went with MyBreast and the experience has been so much better. I had Mr Withey and he was brilliant, they may be a company to consider also. I had my consults in London but the journey wasn't too bad.
My big piece of advise is make sure the surgeon you chose is BAAPS and or BAPRAS registered.

Ooh just to clarify, I didnt choose transform cos they were close.. I did cos im trying to get to see Mr Singh first.
I travel to London at least once a week to visit the parentals so travellings not a biggy.
I feel so sad for all the ladies that have those PIPS :(

Re: Where do I start?!
A good push up bra would help with that after you've had the op. you'll have a sports bra on for a little while so maybe you will. Then when your all healed find a good bra then BAMO!

Re: Where do I start?!
anniebd mentioned spire. Just to through into the mix that you can still have the surgeon you want but go through the channel that best suits you. Ask the surgeon you see who else he works for. For example Adam Topping (brilliant surgeon) did mine. he works for Spire Clare park hospital but as someone mentioned, the aftercare is only a couple of months. Where as going through mybreast with the same surgeon - the aftercare is 5 years, and before you think im trying to promote mybreast, im not- I actually dont rate their customer service and they are rubbish at keeping in touch but if i had gone direct with Spire I would have had to pay a hefty amount for a consultation, where as mybreast was only £25 (and it gets deducted off the balance if you go ahead) mybreast also offered a free makeover and photoshoot so that was a bonus. My advice is research the Surgeon first, then the company.

Re: Where do I start?!
Ooo I forgot to mention in regards to my appointment on Monday...Transform called me earlier & said that if I can get into them earlier I can see the consultation lady.. (what are they called pa, pc? lol) & after I can see the surgeon as he has some free time. Turns out its Mr Khan who was one of the surgeons I wanted to see eventually :-D

Re: Where do I start?!
Just been to see Mr Khan, he was actually quite funny which was not what I was expecting from what Iv heard about him, he even said the word '**naughty word**' lol. He was very to the point & didnt mess about though. .. Boy you would think they'd have hand warmers!
He recommended 410cc on my right & 460cc, overs with high profile as my boobs are b bit saggy (how rude!), which would double my size apparently. I had a look at some before after picks, couldnt find any of women that had my size boobs & then had 460s so not sure they are big enough .... I dunno..
