I don't know him really really really well, but in the past he's never let me down. I am trying to focus on the positive side and keep my fingers crossed that the money comes through. Although I am trying not to get my hopes up too much and am taking the promises with a pinch of salt just in case I do end up getting let down completely.

I guess time will tell on that front. But as I've already said if he does back out or let me down or whatever then I have ways of making his life a living hell and I'm not afraid to do it!

well its quite a lot of money to ask of someone for doing them a favour, and it doesnt sound like youre great friends if you need to ask for thousands for doing him a favour and will blackmail him if he doesnt.
I can understand really really wanting your boobs, but please reconsider how youre going about this honey. It doesnt sound nice to me at all.

I didn't mean that I'll blackmail him hun. I just meant that if he screws me over then I'll leave it and forget about the money and never ask him again, but I know some people who are looking for him for some business related stuff since his last business went down the toilet and his number might find it's way into their hands. But he doesn't know that, so I'm not blackmailing him, it's not a "give me the money or I'll give them your number" thing.

Also, I helped him get access to his kids after his wife threw him out and stopped him seeing them. That is quite a big favour cos his kids are his life. The money thing came about by accident really. He said he owes me big time for helping him and what could he do to repay me. I jokingly replied that he could pay for my boobs. He asked how much. I said £6500 tops, and said "ok done" (this was before I was told I'd need separate ops, so now the price is £6980 I am paying the difference)

It has been talked about so much since all this. He was even going to come to a consultation and meet my surgeon etc but couldn't in the end cos a meeting sprung up.

But I honestly think that he will follow through on his promise. I think that so far it hasn't been his fault. But I'm being sensible and staying slightly conservative until the money is in my account so that if it doesn't happen then, although I will be upset, I won't be totally gutted.

No you didn't offend me at all. And after re-reading my previous post I can see how you thought I was blackmailing him. Sorry, should have worded it better!! That's why I explained.

misf1, I am so hoping that he gets the money in his account on Monday and manages to take it out and put it direct into my bank account the same day while he is away. I don't want to have to be hanging on til Friday. Although knowing the way things have gone so far I will be waiting that long! lol

No girls nothing yet. But he's expecting it today, maybe tomorrow at the absolute latest, and he said he's going to try to take it out and put it in my bank but he's away until Thursday. So to be honest I'm not expecting it til Friday. If it comes of course!

There's a chance I will have to cancel my op too :-(

My boyfriend's hours have just been cut and we don't know how long for. Gonna be around £1,200 short! Can't get a loan or a credit card as my rating is so poor. I have contacted MYA and my last hope is getting the £1,200 spread over 12 mths interest free credit - Im not hopefully tho as they will probably need to do scarey credit checks too!! I've been waiting since yesterday for my pc to get back to me and she still hasn't and feels like the longest wait ever!!

Im not giving up just yet but it doesn't look good xx

Hey girls.

He text me just now saying his phone hasn't worked the entire time he has been away so he hoped I got the text. He said that he hasn't been able to deal with it all but he's leaving soon so will do "the bank thing" when he gets back. He didn't actually confirm that the money is back though.

Part of me has realised that it just isn't going to happen, whether the money just doesn't get to me in time or whether he is screwing me around. But there's a small part of me holding on to hope and wishing that it has all been mess ups and delays and that I'll get the money and go ahead as planned.

If it doesn't then I may be quiet for a few days while I console myself, but I will let you all know. If it does then I'll be here like a shot and shouting it from the rooftop!!!

Ohhh gosh.....sorry to hear that Rach...It's strange that whenever you need to talk to him,he's phone is off or out of recaption..I hope that you'll get this money as soon as possible hun..fingers crossed...xxxx

Strange as in coincidence, or strange as in he's avoiding me?! Lol Cos trust me I am now thinking that he's avoiding me rather than it being coincidence. Once he said he had crap reception and then he called me and it kept cutting out so I think that was the truth. But I doubt its every time.

Hun, I'll happily give you what details I know, like his phone numbers and email address, if it goes tits up (pardon the pun!!)

I already know several people who are after him from when his last business went under and their contracts were no longer valid so they're mad at him so if he screws me over they'll be getting his details too, although he doesn't know that. And I think his wife might be getting a phone call from me too.......
