Update on the nightmare of a money situation!

Ok ladies.

After waiting what feels like an eternity for my friend to get back to me I tried calling him, but he missed the call as he was in the petrol station.

He text me back saying sorry he missed my call, but they told him it takes 2 working days to return the money now it has been found!!! (I've still got no idea where it had actually gone to, I didn't bother asking in the end!)

So that's fab news, but even better news - he's going to try and put the money in my account while he is away!!!!!! He is out of the country for a week from tomorrow so I thought nothing would be done, but he is gonna try to do it anyway! Yay!

But I asked him if he can't do it while he is away and does it when he gets back, when will it be. He gets back Thursday afternoon, so should be then but will be Friday at the latest!

So now I'm just off to call MyBreast and ask for an extension until next Friday, but will make it clear that if I have the money before then I will call them and pay it.

Fingers crossed they let me keep the date now!!!

Just called them.

They are going to email my info (the nightmare with the money, when I can pay (ie latest of next Friday, but if I can pay sooner then I will), and my numbers etc) to my P.A Nikki and to the manager (who I've already had on my side cos he got me the enormous discount!!) and they will probably both call me tomorrow morning after 9am to let me know whether they can give me an extension or not.

Keep your fingers crossed girls, and I'll update in the morning!

I'm going to go and celebrate my partial good news with a glass of wine and a nice hot bubble bath!

Oh, and Kay, I know what you're saying hun, but this is the only hope I've got, so I'm going to take the good news with a pinch of salt and remember that it is possible that he could let me down again.

But if he does, oh I have my sweet revenge planned!!!! I'll cause him absolute hell if he screws me over!!!!

Well Mybreast just called. They said yes to the extension!!!!! So I have until Friday 5th August (10 days before my op) to get the money to them.

Just keep everything crossed that my friend gets the money back and in to my account asap!

I've read ur story and been the same, I didn't want to comment as I wasn't sure what to say but not knowin ur friend and the full details it's hard 2 not b unsure that he will get that money 2 u, can you really trust him? Maybe i'm just a bit cynical but I hope it works out 4 u.

Also, when I booked with Transform I was given a £300 discount on the basis that I paid in full by the end of May but I didn't. My partner was giving money towards and we had to wait for a cheque to come from his ISA account and then wait for clearance etc!! In the end I told them I couldn't pay in full but I could give them so much. My PC wasn't very happy but they didn't cancel on me!! xxx

Hey hun

I don't know him really really really well, but in the past he's never let me down. I am trying to focus on the positive side and keep my fingers crossed that the money comes through. Although I am trying not to get my hopes up too much and am taking the promises with a pinch of salt just in case I do end up getting let down completely.

I guess time will tell on that front. But as I've already said if he does back out or let me down or whatever then I have ways of making his life a living hell and I'm not afraid to do it!
