Re: symmastia sad and gutted
i have my bra and giving it a go,
feels strange and not holding them back as much as i thought it would, but still worth a try
what i wonder is why people like jordon and pamela and other girls can have really big boobs and not have this problem, they also have really small chest width, as surgon says mine implants are to big and i only had 450cc,
there bothering me more and more each day when i look at all the other ladys lovely ones on here,
and just think why me!!, ive waited and wanted this for so so long its just not fair,

,
Jordan does have big boobs now but she has had a number of ops to take her to the size she is now - I think when she had her first op she had overs and didn't go as big as you, it was over a number of years that she kept going back and having her implants enlarged gradually, which meant her chest wall had time to stretch.
450cc is a large implant to put under the muscle hun. It must have just been to much stretch for your chest wall to take in one go.
Glad you have the bra now, money well spent I think - I read James's reply to you and it sounds promising, it might sort itself out with just the bra, hope so hun.
Take care xxx

Re: symmastia sad and gutted
Hi Hun,
I thought that special bra was for after corrective surgury to help stop the symmastia happening again so it sits down the middle of the boobs to keep them apart while they heal & suppors the stiches down the middle in the mean time?
I think the only way to correct this is with sugury & even then its quite a difficult one.............I did quite a bit off resurch on it myself as i thought i had this but it turned out to be a hell of alot of swelling.
You surgon should have been well aware BEFORE you op that you frame was not big enough to fit that size implant so i personally would be soooooo angry with him & would make a complaint & as foe a re-op with a different surgon & who Know what there doing for free!
Hope you get this sorted out hun, be thinking of you
x

Re: symmastia sad and gutted
im really not sure what i would have to pay for on a re-op,
i guess the surgon wouldent charge me his fee as its his fault,
the hosp would want there money for me staying there, and the bloke who puts you to sleep, if he changes the implants to smaller ones who pays for them?
my ba was 5k, theres no way i can do that again,
i dont want to ask him until the time comes when i no i will have to re-op,

Re: symmastia sad and gutted
I should imagine for symmastia hunni, all surgical and hospital costs will be coverered and if you need smaller implants they will be covered too as this was your surgeons mistake - The implants are too large, that's not your fault. xxx

Re: symmastia sad and gutted
well ive had the bra on a few days now and its killing me,
sooo tight, i could make it looser but then it wouldent work,
its falsing 2 things that want to be together apart,
its visable under lots of clothes ive been wearing a type of scarf to cover it, wearing a sports bra for 6 wks was better than this
it is worth it?

Re: symmastia sad and gutted
Have you spoken to your surgeon again about the possibility of a re-op? I know you might want to give the bra some more time to work before you go down that road, but it might help to prepare yourself - maybe you could just ask him some questions such as what fees would be involved, recovery times, etc, just to go into a bit more detail. xxx

I think Jessica's suggestion is a good way forward for you BB!! Just the opportunity to speak with him would enable you to have all the information and choices explained fully and he could check the progress if any of wearing the bra.
Take Care xx :flowers:

You really do need more information from your surgeon hunni, as well asking how many of these procedures your surgeon has performed and asking to see before and after pics to put you at ease.
Stay positive hunni! x
Re: symmastia sad and gutted
i am planning on seeing him again in october, he wants me to give the bra a go for a while and to see if it will go by itself rather than being drastic and going for a re-op stright away, as it is mild
i will be asking him how many he has done before and things like that,

Re: symmastia sad and gutted
its been nearly 2 months since i was diagnosed with this,
nothing has changed, tried the thong bra and high underwires,
i am seeing my ps again in december where i guess he will talk about a re-op,
i dont want to go through it again but i dont have any choice,
