symmastia update
hiya girls
well im still going through it all
i had the correction surgery for symmastia in feb and it didint hold,
i went to see my surgeon last night and he really doesnt no what to do next,
i have very little tissue/muscle inbetween my breasts so there is not really anything to stitch down
not only do i have symmastia my left implant still refuses to stick down, it moves about inside my breast, last time he corrected the symmastia he scored the skin inside so it was more rough and hopefully the implant would stay put,
but damn stupid breast and implant wont co-operate,
i have a teardrop one also so constantly worried it will turn,
i have been told to stop wearing the high underwire bras as they were cutting into the sides of my breasts as there is no room for the wires they are that close together and rasied,
it has been left as he will contact the company that supplied the implants and see what they say, maybe change them to different type, then correct (somehow!) the symmastia again,
my right breast has been perfect from day one,
so now waiting for 3rd op

Re: symmastia update
Hi Bumble sooo good to hear off you even
So sorry youre still going thru the mill, yes maybe a higher profile round then the implants wouldnt be as wide and maybe less prone to moving together, i really hope that is the answer for you.
Hope youre okay have you considered going to a different surgeon just for a second opinion?

Re: symmastia update
I am not sure it would help your symmastia but have you thought of trying the brazilian implants as they have a polyurathane coating that help them hold. they also have a zero rate of roatation and a lowered rate of CC ( less than 1%). Might help that lefty stick in place.

Re: symmastia update
Hay hun,
I cant remember if you have ever been given a reason for why you ended up with this? Also have you ever been to get a 2nd opinion, even more so now your P.S seems beaten by your complication....

Re: symmastia update
Have you thought about maybe going for smaller implants with less projection for your re-op? Perhaps that would improve things as it sounds like there's not a lot of space on your chest if the PS is saying there's nothing to stitch down etc.
Hope you get it sorted soon! xxx

Re: symmastia update
I would echo what Jessica said. You may lose a bit of fullness but might help with the complications. Let us know what happens next lovely.
