PJ's for overnight stay?????
I have been out and bought some new PJ's for my overnight stay, wanna look my best lol!
But just had a thought the top is like a vest top, will I be able to get the top on, most probably gonna have to lift my arms a little to get it over my head is this possible after straight after a BA???

I had overs and I couldnt lift my arms up for a good few days after. As I see your having unders particually I would recommed that you get a button up PJ's top hunny. xx

Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
I had overs too and found it uncomfortable to raise my arms but i was lucky that the vest top i took with me was just about large enough to step into and shimmy up over my hips!-definatley easier with a button-up hunnie!

Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
If it's a stretchy vest that you can step into rather than pull over your head, you should be able to manage hunny, although I'm not sure you'd be bothered with the faffing around babe - You'd be better with a button front, not only as it will easier for you, but it will also make easier access to your new assets for the surgeon and nursing staff when examining you.
I didn't even get to wear my PJs though, I just stayed in the hospital gown.

Get yourself a button-up hun, it will be much easier. Like Cookie though, I stayed in my hospital gown, but the buttton-ups were a godsend at home. xx

Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
Hey, i had unders and to be honest you would be better off with button up pj's, you will feel sore and the amount of movement you will have with your arms is slightly limited,
Cookie is right when your surgeon come to check you over you will need quick access to your new assets :)
GOOD LUCK for you boobie day :) X

Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
Yep I have to agree, button up all the way!! You don't want to go straining yourself unnecessarily. You'll need a couple of button up cardies or zip up trackies for the first day or two at home too Chelle!
I saw some nice spotty button up PJs in Top Shop today! I got mine cheap and cheerful from Peacocks, cos I know I won't really wear them again.

Hi, yep have to agree with the others - I had unders and pretty much lived in my button up PJs for (Primark - £6!) for the first few days. I only started wearing tops which go over the head after the first 2 weeks as it was too uncomfortable before. Happy shopping! TC x

Hey Lovely
I had overs and I was able to put a vest top on but had bought some button up ones, I was so pleased but as the other girls have said take some just in case as you wont know how well your movement will be.
Lots of love

Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
I ended up staying in my hospital gown as well whilst in hospital - far easier lol. However I had bought some rather nice button up pj's for home....in satin !!!! Not a good idea . After sliding around in bed for the first night I had to ditch the trousers xx

Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
I had lovely satin PJ's when I had my first son and I slipped all over the place, whilst I was in bed, not great is it!

Haha! That was me! Flung those PJs right across the room as soon as I could get up to get them off!

Not when you can't even use your arms to lever yourself back up and your wriggling like a slippery eel all over the bed!
Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
theres loads of button up pyjamas in peacocks at the moment if that helps anyone. I had a look in there today. They were quite nice

Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
Thanks I think I might just stay in the gown sounds like its easier and I will prob be to tired to change. Got plenty of button up PJ's from Primark that I have had for ages, they are fleecy wiv cow prints, cup cakes etc, just didnt fancy wearing at the hospital. Dont care when I am at home though! They are comfy and soft! lol!

Re: PJ's for overnight stay?????
I agree with the above, button up PJ's were definately the way to go at home, so comfortable and easier to get in and out, at least for the first 2 weeks or so.
As for in the hospital, I too wore my gown for the duration of my stay.

Hi Chelle,
I got my button up PJ's from Primark too lol! They're so comfy!!! I stayed in my gown at the hospital as it was just too much hassle to change into my jami's.
Are you home now?? How has everything gone?
Thinking of you
