Hi I'll just move this to the general section Hun, as you'll get far more responses to your question.
With my 1st ba I stayed over night however with my 2and 3 rd I went home the same day.
It depends on your personal circumstances and where you will have to travel home to , or if your medical risks are high. X

Hey hun, I'm booked into the highgate also with an over night stay. I think it all depends on personal circumstance such as what time you have surgery, whether its too much of a risk to send you home etc. I think the first 24 hours after any operation are crucial so they like to keep you in just to make sure you're definitely ok before they send you off.
When are you booked in for? xx

If you're not happy with an overnight stay sweetheart you could always call the clinic and request a daycase if you'd prefer that.
It would also reduce the cost of your surgery if you were to have a daycase.
But if your surgeon has any concerns about health problems at all they would want you in overnight. If you're fit and healthy though there should be no problem at all and if you're not then well enough to go home after being booked in for a daycase the surgeon would have you remain In hospital overnight free of charge hun.
It's entirely up to you though which you'd feel more comfortable with. Some women like the security of knowing there are trained professionals around them if they need them. Others prefer the comfort of their own home.
It's up to you babe. Xx

Many women have a daycase, don't worry though, if your not feeling good after surgery then you will be kept overnight anyway XX

If you're booked in as an overnight case they will keep you in. If you ask to go home when booked in as an overnight case and you're doing well after surgery they will let you go but you'll lose the it's you paid for overnight.
If you call and say you'd prefer a daycase the cost of your BA should be reduced and you'll be able to go home the same day. However... If you're not feeling well after surgery on a daycase an your surgeon feels you should stay to be monitored you won't pay anymore than you did for a daycase. The overnight stay would be free hun. X
