Re: Help with overnight bag for BA??
sounds grim but i didn't even use the toothpaste i was so swollen and could barely use my arms think i had some gum and had to wait to get home for OH to help me wash and get dressed etc! Best to be over prepared than under prepared but I wouldn't worry about going out and buying/spending loads xx

Re: Help with overnight bag for BA??
Something button up the front for the journey home, slippers, mags, but to be honest I didn't use anything I took either. I was so sleepy after surgery that I stayed in the gown. I did manage to brush my teeth and stick on a little make up before I left though lol! Only to prove a point to my OH! Childish I know.

Re: Help with overnight bag for BA??
It's recommended that you have button up because you will have very restricted arm movements. And reaching and pulling are pretty much impossible. X

Re: Help with overnight bag for BA??
I'm the same as Nicole, I took loads that I didn't use. I would suggest getting an electric toothbrush to avoid the arm movement with a manual one. I got one from Boots reduced from like £100 to £40. Thats just me though hun. Button up nightshirt or a light dressing gown as well xxx

Re: Help with overnight bag for BA??
Primark have a button up night shirt, best thing I bought, as it was too painful for a heavy duvet after, so it kept my shoulders warm over night! I didn't use much if what I took either as there was a TV in the room, just had a couple of things to watch on my PlayBook. Electric toothbrush is also a must! Even if it is just a novelty kids one, it's better than a manual!
