OK don't panic I am not thinking of it yet, but how long after your BA did you get back behind the wheel? x

Re: Driving!
I didn't drive until 10 days after. I could've of driven sooner but didn't want to risk pulling anything if I had needed to take a sudden movement like swerving or somethiing !! xx

Re: Driving!
I have been thinking the same Tilly - wondering when okay to do so?! - Think it's one of those when you would be able to perform an emergency stop safely - at the moment the thought of getting off the couch a bit too fast can make me wince let alone perform an emergency stop lmao - plus I quite like making hubby ferry me around for a bit longer

Re: Driving!
I drove about 10-12 days later. Its 17 days later and its still kinda weird. I cant turn and look behind me very good (like when backing up) but other than that, its been ok.

Re: Driving!
I drove at 10 days, I really had to learn how to use back mirror , couldn't turn my head back..
Also just a disconfort to pass the gear and to put the seat belt .

Re: Driving!
I waited 3 weeks. I sat in the car and hated the seat belt being accross my chest and worried about sudden stops (i'm way too cautious) so i got out and demanded to be driven everywhere! Loved it. x

Re: Driving!
I waited about 2 weeks before i drove, but to be honest even though i drive all the time due to having to get about, since i had boobies it just doesn't feel as comfortable.I thinks its havin the seat belt accross them that i find the most uncomfortable x

Re: Driving!
Good thread. I am leaning towards taking three weeks off work two weeks at the least.

Re: Driving!
I haven't started driving again yet, but will probably give it a go next week! I just don't feel quite ready yet and I'm scared I will pull something so I prefer to wait a bit longer, i'm probably just being wimpy x x

Re: Driving!
Ok - couldn't wait - have just been out to the supermarket! Only a 5 min drive and it felt fine. I took my eldest son so he could pack and carry the shopping!
