Just wondering how long it took all you ladies to drive post op? My surgeon said its completely my choice but he thinks 2 weeks post op is ok. I'm 1 1/2 weeks post op. xx

I was told not to drive for 7 days. The week after I had to drive to work but I found it a bit uncomfortable and 5th gear was the worst x

I drove at 1 week pretty easily. The only only problem was turning to look over my shoulder when backing up...ouch!

You need to be able to preform an emergency stop easily I remember one of the conditions of driving after an op.

I wasn't driving til just over 3 weeks after...I tried at 2 weeks and just felt too "pully" and uncomfy to change gears so just milked it with everyone else driving and took my time til I tried again!
But I didn't need to be back at work or anything (took holiday) so I wasn't in any rush luckily xxx
