Hi ladies,
Just a question about how long before you can go swimming after op? i,m a bit worried because my op is next week and our holiday is 18 th may to florida, which i think is about 11 weeks later, that should be ok do you think ? my surgeon advised after 8 weeks.but i m not sure about the swimming .

i was told i could resume all normal activitys inc swimming at 6 weeks post op xx

I was also told I could go swimming and bathe and treat my boobs as normal boobs after 6 weeks too

I was told 12 weeks I think, but I had an uplift which is a bit more invasive with bigger inscisions xx I would say you will be fine in May xx

I went swimming about 6weeks after so at 11weeks you should be fine. x

thankyou ladies thats made me feel less worried, someone i asked said they waiting 6 months !! i thought thutiouat was being extra cautious !
