Re: holidays after surgery
Hi Lauren xx
I would ask your PS hun and see what they advise xx
I would have thought you would be okay, I don't think they like you flying within 6 weeks xx It might be worth waiting just in case you have any complications or set backs xx

Re: holidays after surgery
I was told 6 weeks also. However your boobs will not be fully healed, they will probably still be very high up and fake/stuck on looking. Your scars have to be really well protected from the sun especially at that early stage.
Re: holidays after surgery
thankyou for the advice. i am going to phone tommorow and make an appointment for a consultation just to rego over everything. i do think i would be pushing it to get them done before i went and after all if i do have set backs or anything goes wrong i do not want to miss my sisters wedding... flight leaves 3rd june.
did ur surgeries run smoothly or did u have a few problems?

Re: holidays after surgery
That's the problem with forums unfortunatly, very few who have had no problems at all stay on after a few months. Which is why it is easier to read a horror story or about problems than it is to read good reviews.
Re: holidays after surgery
Hey hun...
My PS said 2 months for short haul flights (less than 4 hours)
Or 3/4 months for long haul.... Hope that helps xxxx

I was the same Lauren i really wanted them for MY OWN wedding and has a 2 month time slot from op to wedding eeeek
I just had to make decision about whether to take the risk that there'd be no complications and that they'd settle in time!!! They did thank god but now when i look back i cant believe i risked it i just really wanted big boobs for my wedding pictures hee hee

Re: holidays after surgery
Hey Lauren125,
I didn't have any issues with my surgery last Friday, all went very well. I understand how you feel because I got married last June and REALLY wanted to get mine done. I ended up putting it off because my dress was already ordered and I was too scared I would end up getting boobs that wouldn't fit. That would just be my luck!
Janeybird - you are so lucky! Hahaha I can't believe you got away with it! You're so lucky!
Best of luck Lauren!
