Re: HELP?? (SPORTS BRA HOLIDAYS)
In a word Louise.... No
Not unless you get your surgeons permission not to need the support from your bra lovely.
I know it's hard when summers here, you've got your new boobs and you just want to get back to normality and show them off, but in reality sweetie, if your surgeon requires you to wear a sportsbra throughout your six weeks recovery, then it's a small price to pay for the lovely new boobs you paid a heck of a lot of money for!
There'll be other holidays sweetheart, but this one... You're still going to be very much recovering from having major surgery to enhance not only yourself but your life too. So make the most of the opportunity to relax in the sun, whilst we're all here under rain umberellas LOL.
Probably not the reply you were wanting lovely. But if you want the best from your results, it requires a little help from you and to do that you MUST follow your surgeons instructions babe. xxx

I have to agree with everything Cookie said which I know isn't what you want to hear but would you really want to waste all of that money for the sake of 9 days in the sun? If the answer is yes maybe you should reschedule your BA.
My best advice is go to Tesco, they sell sports bra's that are low cut with quite slim straps, they're the best I've seen for wearing with clothes and are easily disguised under a vest top/crop top etc. Bralets are really in right now so stock up on those without underwires for on the beach/around the pool (Topshop have some great ones) and pretend style comes before bikini's! This way you can wear a sports bra underneath but nobody will ever know!
At 4 weeks post op you probably won't have the all clear for swimming by then either so keep that in mind if you haven't had permission from your surgeon.
I promise on your next holiday when you're showing off your wonderful boobies it will be worth it! X

Re: HELP?? (SPORTS BRA HOLIDAYS)
Hi Louise. I was in the same situation as you. I'd got my hols booked for 4 weeks post op. I felt a lot of anxiety about going away, how i'd cope with sports bra, any pain i was still having and risk of infection.
In the end i decided to postpone my BA. I instantly felt relief.
I've paid a lot of money for my holiday and a lot of money for my BA. I decided not to do anything to ruin either.
I know this might not be an option for you, but i know you'll regret not following surgeons instructions if anything were to go wrong.

Re: HELP?? (SPORTS BRA HOLIDAYS)
Thanks girls for all the replies i thinks yous are all right :-) My surgeon had originally said 6-8 weeks but i hadnt decided on a date at that stage! so i thought i could chance my arm getting it done before my holiday, so he then said it was ok if i wear it at night during holiday but have a feeling this was just said to suit me(not cancel the BA) or maybe to be gauranteed money from me xxx

I don't think he would risk your health, you could just have your op after your holiday so I don't think that would be a reason 4 him to say it was ok, just my opinion xx
