A change of plan
As some of you know I had planned to have both boobs made bigger, and not just the small one.........well........ I've thought about it and had a good talk with my consultant, and I've decided to just go for the one implant in the smaller side.
The problem I'm looking at is the amount of surgery that the smaller side will need just to bring it up to my bigger side. I'm already looking at another fat graft surgery and then an implant op just to make me symmetrical, if I wanted an implant in my bigger side I'd have to go through 2 fat graft surgeries and I don't honestly think I could do it.
Is this just me going mad or does anyone else see where I'm coming from?

Re: A change of plan
It sounds like you've thought about it a lot and consulted your surgeon which is great hun, do you have a date yet? x
Re: A change of plan
Ah hun I can see why you wouldn't want too many surgeries and agree with nads, seeing as you have talked to your surgeon about it I think you've probably made the right choice for you.
ps your not going mad

Thanks chicks
No date yet, I saw my consultant again last Friday (8th Jan) and he's very happy with what we've done so far and he's popped me straight back on the waiting list.
He also asked me if I wanted to be put on the standby list again where they call you if there is a last minute cancellation, so if last time is anything to go by, it could be next week!

Re: A change of plan
A BA is a big enough op as it is without further procedure babe and it sounds to me you have thought it through sensibly and made a decision that is the right one for you and your needs... Good luck with your op hun, hope you don't have too much of a wait. xxx
Re: A change of plan
Thank you all for your replies
If I'm totally honest I don't feel like I'm loosing anything because all I originally wanted was a matching pair, I think I just got the dreaded boobie greed!
