Do you sleep braless?
What do you girls wear to bed, do you go braless or wear a support bra? Im thinking with my overs i may wear a bra to bed, with my unders i didnt after the 2 month mark
Re: Do you sleep braless?
YES! All the time Nads. I've got some really comfy racer back sports bras from TK Maxx that I wear at night. They just feel a bit too heavy without one.

I had been wondering this too, ATM I'm wearing a sports bra but have been tempted to ditch it. Will be interested to hear what everyone else is doing. xx

Re: Do you sleep braless?
Thanks hun, with my unders they never moved really, which is probably why i stopped wearing bras to bed after they healed but i think with my overs i will wear support bra to bed indefinatey as overs can sag easier and i dont want that!*Sally* wrote:YES! Re: Do you sleep braless?
I'm not ready to sleep braless just yet, but from experience of my last op, I found I wore my sports bra to bed purely as I found it to be more comfortable, I had no problem however sleeping braless when I wanted to, I was and still am very aware of sagging and want to do all I can to help maintain boobies for as long as I can and whether you have unders or overs, the best way to do that is with support. xx
Re: Do you sleep braless?
I dont, but i did up until about 4 months and mine are fine, i cant sleep on my front though which i miss!

Re: Do you sleep braless?
I still wear my M&S zip front bras to bed. On the occasions I haven't I don't feel as comfortable and my boobs feel heavy even though normally they don't!! I guess as well the extra support can only be a good thing xxx

I stopped wearing a bra to bed after my 6 week check up.
I doubt very much that your boobs will sag by not wearing a bra to bed. It's not like you're running and jumping around, you're just lying flat!

Re: Do you sleep braless?
I don't tend to wear it in bed anymore, mainly because all my bras now are underwired so I just sling it off and jump into bed.
I do wear it every now and then as they get squished around so some support stops the aching.
(off to put it on now lol)

True, but it should be taken into consideration that you are carrying a weight inside your breasts and when lying on your side, your breasts do drop.
I read this about avoiding sagging after cosmetic surgery from HERE-
- How can I prevent sagging in future years?
You
can't. However careful choices can modify your risk. Your breasts will
always change as you get older, and this is irrespective of whether you
have breast implants or not. This is because of biological changes that
occur with ageing: loss of elastin, stretching of collagen, atrophy of
breast tissue, loss of skin elasticity, sun damage to skin, smoking
related damage, effects of weight change on skin and breast tissue,
effects of pregnancies and breast feeding on skin and breast tissue,
hormonal changes, weight of breast tissue and implant weight and size.
The
biodimensional assessment goes some way to reducing excessive implant
sizes being chosen by patients. You should very much speak to your
specialist breast surgeon / cosmetic breast surgeon about this. The
larger the implant the greater the long term detrimental effects. This
is because of the additional weight, and the compressive force of the
implant on the surrounding tissues, which become thinner, and more
stretched. Avoid very large augmentations (eg over 350cc) and implant
sizes that exceed your natural dimensions. Sub muscular breast implant
augmentation may provide additional support to the implant.
Wearing
a well-fitting bra after your recovery is important (usually from
6-weeks). An underwire bra is safe and recommended. Wearing a
comfortable sports bra at night is also very useful. A shock-absorber
type bra should be worn during sport. Keeping the skin over the breasts
moisturised helps to maintain the elasticity (bio oil is possibly
advantageous here). Avoid the use of sunbeds and do not smoke at all
(both have a very detrimental effect on skin elasticity and quality, as
well as micro-vessel blood flow). Maintain your weight in the healthy
range for your body mass index.

Re: Do you sleep braless?
I think it all depends on what size implants you have to be honest, yes there going to sag eventually but so do natural boobs its unavoidable, where as a large implant is probably going to sag much quicker.
