Re: Braless
I think you could but might not be very comfy. Maybe take a sports bra and cardi just in case. Maybe a top with hidden support could be good.
Re: Braless
What kind of clothes you got in mind hun?
I think it depends on how much you rely on the support of a sports bra. My surgeon is one of those that doesn't believe you need to wear one so wouldn't be the end of the world but having said that I can't imagine ever going bra-less.

Re: Braless
I like boob tube dresses. Lipsy do really nice 1's, usually strapless or 1 sleeve type 1s. I've bought 3 new 1's this week, a strapless 1, low cut at the front (can't you tell I've not had boobs before) and a jumper dress type, which could hide the sports bra but doesn't look as nice on as the other two.
Suppose I should just stop being silly and wear the sports bra but it's a 21st and don't want to go out and not feel ready (don't know if it's just me but sometimes I don't feel like I'm ready properly, or don't feel nice in what I have on) and have a rubbish night!x

Re: Braless
Oh I completely understand hun, and it's a big night out and you want to look and feel fantastic!
I think you'll get mixed advice on the bra thing, some will say it's ok to go without, others will advise to wear sb.
For me personally I would feel vulnerable without the support of a bra but in my opinion it wouldn't affect the healing process if you feel ok about it.
Or like Misf1 said, maybe a secret support panel or something?? x

Re: Braless
I wouldn't be comfortable personally without a bra. Early on after my reop I wore some boob tube type sundresses and got a strapless bra from Primark (no bones just like a band covering my boobs) which I felt comfortable in.
Those stretchy type dresses do give you some support so you may feel ok and if so go with your instinct. I'm just over cautious (and have quite big knockers too!) so wear a sports bra still in bed and wouldn't be able to bring myself to go completely braless. xx :flower:

Re: Braless
Hi hun,
I completely know what you mean. I wore a strapless dress out when I was 4 and a half weeks post op.
I got a pack of 2 non wired "strapless bras" from Peacocks. They are from their shapers range and are basically elasticated boob tubes that you wear as a strapless bra. I think they were 2 for £4.
This could give you some support. I felt okay whilst I was out (and I had 410s, so a big implant) and just made sure that I got changed into my sports bra as soon as I got home.
I know it's tempting but I wouldn't risk going out without a bra whilst you are still healing.
Hope this helps,
Marie

Re: Braless
I wouldnt suggest going out without a bra, I did this and suffered the next couple of days. You need to support them in any way you can. Have a look around for some strapless non wired bra's. I know its so tempting to not wear one but they do need to be supported as they are still healing. You dont want to compromise the healing of new gorgeous boobies!!! xxxx
