Re: May Buddies
Really good thanks hun. Amazingly well actually so am bracing myself for the pain to come. Only hurts when I change from sitting to standing and vice versa but fine apart from that.
How's your recovery going? Xx

Re: May Buddies
Yeah I've had to rein myself in as feel so well. Definitely taking it easy and resting though. Have you driven yet? I don't need to drive for the next week and a half which is good. How did you hurt yourself, were you lifting stuff or just did too much? Xx

Take it steady girls - I found it hard recovery from surgery on my hip and I think just because I could do things didnt mean I should of done them! Unloading the dishwasher on day 2 was one I remembered as I literally had to lie down after!

Re: May Buddies
I've just sorted some washing out and whacked it in the machine. I can't believe I feel like this one day later but like you say, just cos I can doesn't mean I should. That's all I'm doing now I promise!
My tummy is really bloated and hard today but I've been expecting hear after reading other peoples experiences. Can't go to the loo despite me taking the laxatives this morning I was prescribed. Codeine does terrible things to me but I'd rather not be able to go to the loo than be in pain! Might just try with ibuprofen tomorrow and see how I get on.
I can't drive for at least another week cos of my foot. Until I can confidently stamp my foot on the ground but don't want to do that now and jiggle the boobs! Xx

Re: May Buddies
I'm so excited for you. I think it helps when you're early on the list cos your recovery starts early on that day. I was done and awake for 1015am.
I've not taken any painkillers today. Feel like I would be able to drive. I just feel a bit bruised. Obviously I am still taking it easy but I feel like I could even go to work on Monday!
I really would recommend an inflatable travel neck pillow. It's really helped me sleep. I think cos I'm sleeping upright I would have woken up at lot more than I have if my neck hadn't been supported by that pillow. Like when you fall asleep in a plane and you wake up as your head falls. I must look like a moron but who cares if you can sleep better! Xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] thanks! It sounds like you're doing amazingly! That's a great shout. I'll have a nosey for one tomorrow. Had a realisation that all the washing i've been doing this week & i'll never wear any of the bras again!!! So wierd! I think i've got most things sorted now, just need to keep myself distracted tomorrow xx

Re: May Buddies
I held the bra I wore on Thursday morning up to my new boobs and it covers about a quarter of the new boob!
I worked a long day the day before mine so although my mind wasn't really focused on work it did mean I wasn't stressing about the op.
I'm so glad I've done it. Hope you have a chilled out day tomorrow hun before the big day.
Are you a day case or staying over I can't remember? Xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] haha! Awh, it kind of makes me sad - i really like some of my underwear - but the thought of boobs far outweighs it!! I've left my food shop til tomorrow then i've something to do & have a bit of a pamper planned - leg shave etc & full on at home facial! I'm a day case, only live 20mins from the hospital so definately wanted to be back in my own bed xx

Re: May Buddies
I'm so glad to see the back of all mine. It didn't fit me properly and refused to buy any new stuff til I had these bad boys!!
The surgeon said to me to expect to be at hospital til 6pm and anything else is a bonus and was discharged at 2pm. So much better to be in your own bed and surroundings. Just keep on top on the painkillers when you get home like you would have if you had a nurse giving it to you in hospital.
Aah I can't wait to hear how you get on xx
