May Buddies... talk about your upcoming surgery here!

Friendly reminder: these threads are for girls who are having/have had surgery in May. Aside from the mods, we would ask that members who haven't had surgery in the respective months refrain from posting in here. This is just a little haven for girls who are going through the same thing in the same month (sometimes the same day!) to bond and share their experiences.

hiya all
i'm at set for fri 27th may first down with mr singh at highgate at MYA with 1300cc sebbin unders, just in time for the bank holiday weekend. have to wait til then as it takes 12weeks for my custom implants to be made and arrive. altho if they arrive a bit sooner will look to reschedule to earlier in may as kids all off school that week not great planning lol.
going away middle of july to salou so only just be 6 weeks after surgery so fingers crossed i heal well. xxx

I'm due on 5th May although have contacted my clinic today to see if there is any chance I could have it bought forward slightly, only because it's all I can think about and I've quit smoking and I've got the money and I want to be all sorted ready for the summer.

Ohhh summer11 why are you having custom make implants? I've never heard of that before.

lovely to see more of the may girlies
once you go over 800cc the implants are custom made so my 1300cc take 12 weeks to be made and arrive but hopefully if they come a little sooner will try to reschedule. what size are you both having and yes your right it is a bit of a problem lol if that evil boob greed fairy comes my way after the 1300cc i will get myself into rehab lol xx

Hi! I have booked my first BA for 18th May. I have unders, 365cc allergen natrelle. Still undecided on size. 365 or 340? not much in it I know. Plus going for full BWD of 12.5cm. Is it best to fill all space or go slightly smaller? i 5ft 2, 8 stone.

I wish it was sooner as I am getting excited, but with the kids off most of April, and weddings, birthdays etc, I have had to put it off. Worried I will look all odd till they settle during the summer months, but can't wait till Autumn!!

we are similar size, I'm 5ft 1 and i stone. I'm not sure what I am having yet, have appointment in April. x

Wow yes you're right Kaboobie. I was offered a date in April the other day but as the kids were off school that week it wouldn't have been very good for me or them so had to turn it down. I am so nervous and excited and looking forward to my consultation in April. I should have more of an idea then what to expect from my reop.

I need to get my expander implant out and replaced with a normal implant. i have 420cc and 520cc in at the moment and only a 32c/d depending on where i shop. not the big boobs i had hoped for but i am an NHS patient so not going to moan about it.

I would LOVE 1300cc's you lucky lady x

I am 28/05/2011, excited but very nervous. I am going away in Feb 2012 for my sisters wedding then my own in July 2012. I have only got three days off work, nopt sure if this is going to be enough? :cheerlead:

Hello May buddies. It's so nice to hear people are having the same excitement as me.
I'm going in May 13 to have 400cc unders. I am a C cup now but I have had three beautiful kids. We all know what that will do.
I feel like I'm counting down the minutes til my BA. Can't wait to join you lovely women that have had it done already.

I'm actually getting nervous and having really weird dreams about it. I've had two previously years ago so you'd think I'd know what to expect but I'm getting REALLY nervous.

Hi everyone. I'm having ba at highgate with dr singh on 6th may- looking forward to it but really nervous. Can I tan before or it's something you shouldn't do. Oh and what size bra I should get for after- I'm 32b/c and will get 525cc?

Hi again. Thank you all for answers. Really sorry for all this questions but I think I'm begining to freak out now. Is it ok to go under the knife when you are on the period- just calculated 6th may is a first day for me and panicking badly it may affect something?

I think it's ok if you have your period. I think they give you those nice mesh undies as you can't wear a tapon during surgery.

OK ladies I had to fill in pre admission paperwork yesterday and reality started to kick in....I've not been sleeping and I'm getting anxious. Is anyone else getting scared??? I think I'm gonna die help

I'm terrible now it's gettin closer. Every day I say to my hubby what to do if I don't wake up after ga and how I want my son Oliver to be looked after, what school to send him too etc- he is 2,5 and all my life. Need to stop reading too much online.
Lets change the subject. Does any of you drink some herbal teas or use special creams or oils on boobies to help before op- don't really know what am I supposed to be doing now?

I have actually had two previous BA's before so I know this is normal to feel like this. Honestly you'll be juuuuust fine xxxx

Not sure about oils, I didn't use any before and never got any stretch marks but then I must have oily skin coz I didn't get any when I was pregnant either.

You see I didn't get any on my belly but there is some on my boobs- they went from size b/c to dd over night. Don't know what to get :(
