Re: May Buddies
h jasmine05 we are having our BAs on the same day
i am having 350cc hp overs
i have been told no heavy lifting for 3 weeks. i have been told that i ony need a week off work and that i can't drive for a week. i am having about 13 days off work though because i work with children and just in case i have to lift them. i work with pre school aged chilldren but if i have to work in baby or toddler room i'll struggle to lift them. my daughter is 12 so she can basically look after herself, my mother in law live wth us so when my OH and daughter are out then she will look after me. its nice having a built in sitter lol.
wht ages are your children? are they staying at home with you or staying with your family til your up and about? xx

Re: May Buddies
HI shellyj,
think it is longer recovery as i having unders. don't want them to shift as my muscle moves!!!
got twins 6, and a very energetic 3 yr old! staying at parents for 3 wks. after that the family will help with school/nursery runs and housework - unless they get fed up with me!!! :) lol

Re: May Buddies
hi girls, im sitting in dolan park hospital after having my BA done last night at around 7.30.
I had mr sulaiman who was really nice and has done a brilliant job. im not too sore at the moment but probably will be later lol.
the only down fall was they told me i couldnt eat from midnight on 9 may as i had to be at dolan park for 11 o clock. but when getting here i was told my estimated time for the op would be 6.30pm. so as you can imagine i was really hungry and dehydrated, so they put me on a drip to put more fluid into my body and i was finally taken in at 7.30.
The staff arlovely here also xxx would deffinatly reccoment dr sulaiman. xxx good luck to everyone else who is having thier BA's this month xxx

Re: May Buddies
glad those who have had there op are doing well.
My husband is back to work tuesday and i am not looking forward to being on my own. but i will be ok. Having kids means i dont get the full rest i need but i dont know what else they expect me to do.
Just off to clean my kitchens and bathrooms and do some washing. Then pack my bag for tomorrow xx

Re: May Buddies
Glad to hear you are so well yettiricey, the uplift is def not as painful as the BA itself. since i needed pocket revision on one side im a little more sore, but not as bad as last time. Healing slower this time around but that might also be because there are more scars and I have a darn cold :o(
Happy healing to those who have already had theirs done, and good luck to all you with upcoming surgeries !!!!
