Re: May Buddies
If your PS doesnt see a problem with it, I wouldnt worry. He wouldnt say it, and be reliable if something happened just to make a cpl dollars. They would send you to make sure its safe before answering. However if you want more tests to make yourself feel better, there is really no harm in it.
Your the day after me. so good luck !!!

Re: May Buddies
Hi guys im going to have my BA on the 1st May!!! actually i was supposed to have it on 26th March but after the pre-op check they said there is some prob with my platelet count and asked me to see my GP. i have never had this prob in my life!
i went to see my GP and did another blood test, luckily my platelet is back to normal now, but the nurse at transform nottingham asked me to do another one before my big day just to reassure everything is normal. Im quite worried if my platelet count will be abnormal again, i just hope i can get through this and make a big change on myself.
wish me luck pls! :good:

Re: May Buddies
OOOhhhh we're almost half way through April now ladies...how are you all feeling? Are you having weird dreams yet, are you staring at everyone elses boobies in Tesco's / Sainsbury's etc to the point of perversion trying to work out what size will suit you? Are you doing everyone's head in coz you keep talking about it?
I'm doing all of the above....along with not sleeping, eating too much (think that's more to do with the not smoking) getting anxious but all in all I CAN'T WAIT :boobchick:

Re: May Buddies
Hiya all.
I got an expander implant in my right breast to match up the implant in my left to help even out the big size difference i had. I also have CC in my right boob to. I am going from completely under the muscle to dual plane.
I am nervous as i know what the pain is like this time round but i also know the quicker i get on with it the better.
I have started taking my iron tablets again as i have low iron levels so i take them for a month before and a month or so after the op.

Re: May Buddies
Sarsdd I had a BA when I was 26 then had to have a reop about 3 years after, this will be my 3rd!!!!!! EEEeeek. I can however tell you that the 2nd one wasn't no where near as bad or painful as the first. I had unders and was in so much pain on the first op but the 2nd one I don't recall it that well (apart from other stuff going on at that time) so it can't have been as painful.

Re: May Buddies
i remember waking up from the first one and instantly feeling sick. But am not sure if that was just the shock of knowing i finally had boobs hahaha. I was up and showered 5 hrs after the op and i plan on doing the same this time round x

shellyj and disco diva not so good about having to postpone but you really dont have long left now, i bet you are looking forward to it.
Yeh i was told to get up move about and get in the shower. I have huge waterproof plaster things over mine and the next monring before i left a phsyiotherapist came and seen me and made me do exercises and gave me a sheet of them to take home. i am glad they did it that way otherwise i would have moaned and felt sorry for myself haha x

Re: May Buddies
Hi Ladies :)
Just came back from Paris. Went for a weekend with my hubby- my late christmas gift :))) It was beautiful but nice to be home again. So many amazing shops with beautiful underwear- shame I don't know what size I will end up with. It's only 17 days till my op. My bras from asda arrived last week and they are hugeeeee. Got some nice onece too in black with red floral design. Getting so nervous now. Have dreams abour the op and they are not nice dreams at all. Anybody like that here?
