Re: May Buddies
Ohhhh :))) It's getting closer now. 15 days left to my op. Can I propose that we make a list of what is needed on the day of operation ( that is if it's not posted somewhere already) and shortly after that we can all be well prepered. Any ideas more than welcome ladies :)

Re: May Buddies
Oh a list will be brilliant. I'm taking note of the wipes and deoderant.
How am I going to wash my hair the morning after the op? I can't bear the thought of not being able to do this :-(
Hey ladies just a little hint, after my 2nd BA I was very sick so take a bowl or bags for your journey home.....just incase x

Re: May Buddies
Dry shampoo is a life saver for alot of woman. However i managed to do my hair the morning after in the hospital, wasnt done really well but it was done.
My list was: Magazines, newspaper, slippers, pjs, toothpaste toothbrush, roll on deorderant, wipes, Comfy trousers and a top that i could step into and pull up. was so much earier doing it that way than trying to get my top on over my head lol.

Re: May Buddies
This is good- unsaid things but very helpful too. This is also copied from forum, I'm only saying cos I don't want anybody getting upset with me :)
***Before op have a good pamper session. i.e. manicure, pedicure,
exfoliate and moisturise body, wax, especially underarms (as cant reach after boobies) Hair cut and condition...anything to make you feel good. xx
***A couple of days before you go, make sure you put everything you use on a frequent basis at elbow height and below! so you don't have to reach for anything. (i even blue tac'd my bedside lamp switch to the top of cabinet so i literally had to just press it on and off rather than lean over find it and switch it)
***Also, find something to scratch your back with! And get a head band to scrape any hair out of your face in case you have to leave it to go greasy.
***An [electric] toothbrush is great as you can minimise rigorous
movement, and femme fresh deoderant is light and pleasant to spray ifyou want to smell fresh all the time
***Dry shampoo spray- life saver
***Do a big shop beforehand too hun so you won't run out.
i also made sure i had all the house spotless, ironing etc done so i didn't have to do anything for a few days
***find a cheap hairdresser and book yourself on for a few wash and blow drys a few days after your op....I booked one for three days after and it was heaven having clean hair and it lasted for a few days and I went again after that I was ok just to use shower headbover the bath! I think it only cost around a tenner, but worth every penny!

Re: May Buddies
Hello everyone! I'm with BeClinic in Belgium on 10th May, the surgeon is Dr Danau. This is going to be an important part of my male->female transition, so I'm really happy and excited -- less than 2 weeks to go!
