urgh elevated sleeping!!
Morning all!
Wide awake, no pain but my back is in agony!! So stiff and clicky.
I had one normal pillow in a normal pillow position, a v pillow on top and then two pillows down by my side. I woke up and put a normal pillow under my bum but still couldn't sleep.
Has anyone got any tips? Currently sitting on the sofa against my v pillow, with a hot water bottle for my back feeling a wee bit sorry for myself.

I found I got used to it I'm afraid. I ended up with 6 pillows and each night it took me ages to get them arranged and comfy! Just hang in there and around 10 days/2 weeks you'll hopefully feel comfy enough to lie flat.

6! I might have to go on a pillow stealing rampage!! I'll have another bash tonight with more pillows. Failing that i might try the sofa and see how that works out.
2 weeks! Oh gosh, i hope I'm a 10 day girl. and ive got to go through all this again in may, oh well, at least i can be prepared!
Thanks twink xx

Re: urgh elevated sleeping!!
I had one or two to support whole back then the rest for head, if it wasn't the right angle it was so uncomfortable! Lol
Good luck for the pillow rampage!
I couldn't bear to do this twice in such short timescale. Just think of your dream boobs and it will all be worth it xx

You'll soon get use to it, I still sleep on my back with my v pillow even though I can sleep on my side now. I put one normal cushion then v pillow on top, the first night home I didn't sleep cause I couldn't get comfortable. X x

You don't have to be upright, just shoulders above heart level to help drainage. I didn't really get on with the V for sleeping, so just had a pillow mountain, about 5 or 6 at a gradient! I also spent the days with a travel pillow permanently around my neck so I could just drop off where I sat! Try searching for Cookies pillow castle, that might help, and def one in the hollow of your back. Get as much sleep as you possible can, if you're sleeping, you're healing

Re: urgh elevated sleeping!!
Silly tip really but what really helped me was wearing my velour tracksuit bottoms to bed. Then i don't slip down the sheets while I'm asleep propped up. that's what puts my back in a painful position that wakes me! Slept like a baby since iv stayed in the same comfiest position lol x

Ive two feather pillows that mold round me and then two memory foam ones under that and that seems to help me and ive now got use to it x
