Sleeping elevated - Bed Wedge?
Has anyone tried using one of these? I'm dreading having to sleep upright (usually sleep flat on my stomach without a pillow) after my BA (2 days to go!).
Thought it might help and wondered if it was worth investing in, can get them on eBay for about £25 but don't wanna waste my money if they are rubbish. I do have a V Pillow.

Re: Sleeping elevated - Bed Wedge?
I personally haven't invested in any pillows other than standerd ones I already had lol and iv mastered the art of sleeping upright. You will make it work for you somehow. The first couple of nights were ruff for me, but I use a mixture of cushions of the sofa and also my bed and I'm sleeping fairly well. Believe me I was dreading sleeping upright lol but I'm getting kinda used to it. I'm only on day 4 PO and feeling tons better and morning boob is even getting better : ) sorry iv not tried the pillow but hope that helps xx

The v pillow should be sufficient x I still use my v pillow now as still won't sleep on my stomach (preferred position pre BA). One day I'm hoping I will get to sleep on my stomach again however I'm mainly sleeping on my sides and did from about 1 week BA x

Re: Sleeping elevated - Bed Wedge?
This is the thing im most nervous about rather than the op itself ha. Im so grumpy when i dont sleep well or if i cant get comfy so this is gunna be a major thing for me!
How is everyone finding sleeping? Ive looked at V pillows on ebay and tempted to get one but not sure if its worth paying for (Not that they arent cheap ha) xx

Re: Sleeping elevated - Bed Wedge?
I asked the question about a v pillow recently. The general consensus was they were useful. I've still not ordered one though...but I will. Someone suggested dunelm mill so I'm provably going to get mine from there xx

Re: Sleeping elevated - Bed Wedge?
@ goingforiit at first was scared as thought implants would go funny and put a pair of socks inbetween to make sure they stayed in the same position then eventually thought would give it a go without and was so much more comfortable x I regularly sleep on my side and its preferred to being on my back x I did wait until I felt ready and wasn't in pain x if it hurts when u lay on your side don't do it x as long as u listen to your body u will be fine x

Re: Sleeping elevated - Bed Wedge?
If it makes you feel any better I was back sleeping on my stomach at 4 weeks, but I think the bed might make a difference. Mines kinda medium to firm.
I would normally sleep without a pillow too but I do still have one. Sleeping now is so much better but you'll be surprised how quickly everything feels easy and more comfortable :)
Aww [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] so nice to hear a little update from you :)

Re: Sleeping elevated - Bed Wedge?
I'm a side sleeper, but the V-Pillow and usual pillows have kept me propped up, I've slowly sunk down a bit more slowly - I'm still at an incline but most my body is flat on my back now lol. I have to say, Considering I'm usually a side sleeper - I've slept pretty well on my back in my v pillow. I can get a little fidgety sometimes but on the hold it's fine. I have to say, sometimes I've woken slightly to one side and panic thinking I'll get wonky boobs and quickly flip sides for a few minutes to even it out just in case!
