Sleeping after BA
How long did you leave it before sleeping on your stomach/side again? I have started sleeping on my side again but not leaning forward at all just still finding it awkward to get comfy at night xx

Re: Sleeping after BA
Hi hun, I have not attempted to sleep on my front yet and not sure I will again even though I used to sleep on my tummy a lot pre BA. I started to side sleep a little at about 4 weeks post op, but would put a pillow between the matress and my boob, and then a pair of socks or my kush in between my boobs and then my v pillow wedged around the top boob. This was really comfy to do. I now side sleep most nights and now just use the socks or kush between my boobs and still use my v pillow wedged around. xx

Re: Sleeping after BA
The nurse said I could try from 2-3 weeks post op, I did try to move more on my side last night but my boobs felt uncomfortable so I went back on my back x

Re: Sleeping after BA
The nurse will have given you an indication of when you can, around 2/3 wks, but your body will tell you when it's ready to side or front sleep again. It will naturally move itself to what's comfortable. Do try the kush/socks between your boobs, it really does give that extra needed support for when you first start rolling over. I'm thinking of going back to it!

Re: Sleeping after BA
I didn't really get along with the v pillow to be honest. Great for gaming though!
The kush is a plastic cylinder type thing that sits between the boobs to support them. Try 'kush breast support', might get you better results. But a pair of socks rolled through does just as good a job and you can adjust the size and firmness to suit you better.

Re: Sleeping after BA
The kush is quite big but I think you an buy smaller ones. I use my kush some nights and then socks on the others. I have some really soft fluffy socks that are comfy and you can make them as big or little as you want in between, it helps support them a little while you side sleep and also supposed to help stop getting a wrinkly cleavage. The Kush is comfy and its like a stress ball material. xx

Re: Sleeping after BA
I loved my vpillow and it was great for when I started to lie on my side as I could snuggle into it and it was a good way to have something to rest on my side xx

Re: Sleeping after BA
I love my v pillow best thing I ordered. I'm still on my back but I'm hoping I can get on my side soon. I'm usually a front sleeper I've surprised myself how well I've been sleeping x

Re: Sleeping after BA
Hi hun.
I started sleeping on my side about 3 weeks and on front about 6 weeks. I just woke up on my front without realising. I guess it's my body telling me it was ok.
I ordered Kush from USA ebay- it cost less than £15 incl delivery and I got 2 in same box. One smaller and one bigger. I wasn't quite sure about it first but I love it now.
I'm sleeping in sports bra religiously

Re: Sleeping after BA
Look for Kush on Ebay. They are much cheaper there. They look a bit hideous though but it's a small price to pay for ache & wrinkle free boobies.
They will stop aching soon too. Mine only stopped feeling a bit sore at 8-9 week mark xx
