High Impact Exercise
I had my BA nearly 3 mths ago and have been hack running since 6wks but taking it steady (cycling & walking just ain't doing it for me, particularly in the season of goodwill where there's a tin of Quality Street & glass of bubbly on offer everywhere I turn.
So I'm back at running club and I wore 2 x level 4 shock absorbers which worked a treat (it was hill runs tonight as too wet for road running, and there is nothing more high impact than running downhill with 1000cc of sillicone).
I wondered how everyone else was going on with post op exercise & breast implants? x

Re: High Impact Exercise
Hi Hun, I didn't get back running till around the 5 month mark as like you having heavy implants (800cc for me) it's a lot of weight to be running with!
I'm 2 yrs post op and am fine at 3 months your internal stitches will only just be dissolved so give it time Hun, it will get better and running easier. Stick with the double shock absorber as them bad boys need to be firmly held down!! X

Re: High Impact Exercise
Thanks so much, rrr & Mrs Ball for your replies - it's inspiring to see ladies much further post op than myself enjoying running. I had worried that my running days were over but you 2 are clearly great examples that shouldn't be the case

Re: High Impact Exercise
I don't run but do insanity live classes which is high impact and it's fine in my panache sports bra... They don't move! Was comfortable from about 3 months post op but I only have about 600ccs of silicon!! Maybe try the panache, lots of ladies like it!

Oooooh I'll have a look at that - thanks. What's the actual name of the one you recommend? Panache seem to make quite a few sports bra types :-)

Re: High Impact Exercise
I use the Panache too. Used to wear the triumph triaction extreme, but I think the added underwire in the Panache helps, its the first one I've used that doesn't cause me aches. I find its best to adjust it to fit, then clip the racer back for added lock down! Im just getting back into my running and this one is fab.

Re: High Impact Exercise
Candy, is that 1000cc total, or in each implant? How do you find running with them? Was it easy getting back into the swing of things?

Re: High Impact Exercise
Thanks. It looks very similar to the Level 4 shock absorber max I wear at the moment but with the racer back clip option and great colours. Will be investing on one of those with xmas money. Good have a selection to vary pressure points.....and who doesn't like an excuse to buy bras!!!!
