Tesco high impact Sports Bra.. : )
I started with A marks and Spencers sports bra, but the nurse said it just wasn't supporting enough. Anyway went off to Debenhams and bought 2 Shock absorbers high impact ( 4 ) , lovely, with a back fastener, expensive, but pull the shoulders back, one in blue and red for £15 in sale and lots of support and comfy. Anyway my mum popped in today with a Tesco one , high impact, £6, similar to my White shock absorber, she got me a 34DD... (my shock absorbers are 32 D but was told come up small?), I thought don't think so, Well it fits a treat on tightest hook, lots of support and got a nice cleavage like with the shock absorbers. So i would reccomend them . X I know we are all different but definitely worth a try x

I've tried Tescos bra, not sure theyre high impact though? after my recovery... I thought they were great too at first but after a few washes (I hand wash all my underwear) they totally lacked support. For that price though I don't think they're made to last.
Each to their own though and glad you're liking them. Xx

Please Could you let me know how you get on, I've been living in a Royce silver post op bra, mega comfy and feels very supportive, for two weeks now, take it off for a quick wash then straight back on!! I've got an m&s post surgery and a tesco support bra but don't feel secure enough and am scared to keep them on for long.
May take them along to hospital appointment on Saturday and see what nurse says, but would like your opinion, not sure if I should be investing in more post op bras or if I should get some shock absorbers?
Cheers emx

The shock absorbers are great, but try them on Emily cos I found the bands come up small, but have 2 straps . The higher one is good for my posture . I will let u know how I get on, washes etc, you get what you pay for sometimes, so I will see if the support goes after a wash etc

You don't need too many Emily. I really wouldn't go mad. Two at the least (one for wash, one for wear) three at most I'd say. Don't forget you're only in them for 6 to 12 weeks depending on your recovery, so I wouldn't go buying a whole lot lovely. What you have is more than enough. Xx

The tesco and asda ones are the ones that my pc recommended to me. i got a pack of 2 asda high impact and a pack of 2 m&s. i have to wear a chest strap for the first 10 days though so not tried them out yet. can't wait to stop wearing this bloody band, it really digs into my skin xx

Yes hun, it's very normal . Some surgeons don't use use them others do and some very dependant on your healing, but either way your surgeon has your healing at heartand is advising on what is the best for YOU hun. Many women do wear them though. Xx
