Since my op 5 weeks ago ive drank alcohol twice and both times, for the entire day after i have this terrible pain when i breathe in. Its only in my leftie, feels like behind my boob kinda in my shoulder!
Its not from dancing or anything just purely from drinking i think, i know the obvious answer is NOT DRINK which i wont be now but i wondered if anyone else has had this.

Is your left you drinking arm? Could be as simple as increase in movement! It's likely just dehydration causing a bit of achyness. Drink plenty of water. And obviously less booze!!

when I felt like this I spoke to the surgeon and he said its all to do with the anesthetic aswell, and your body is still run down and it can come out in aches and pains, whether its true or not he doesnt know but hes been told a few times that this can happen xx

Don't forget how much trauma you've been through too, that's gonna be exacerbated by the booze. I don't know about you but I always feel pretty beaten up after a few too many!
