Advice lovelies
Hi ladies, well my swelling has def went down I don't see or feel any now!..
However I am wearing a 32D sports bra im noticing today when I check the sides are indented with the sorta lines part and also my nipples look squashed, I have no sensation in these areas at all to know if its deep or not. I had for the first time this morning stinging nipples comin from inside. the upper half I don't have any fullness yet so there is not markings... im unsure if this is the right size for me to wear? (basically im shaped like a cone haha) x thanks x

Re: Advice lovelies
Its so tricky this early on to get in the right size. This is why I wished I'd gone with the Macom from the start.
Indentation is fine as long as you can still breath! Put 2 fingers under your band and pull. If theres no give, go up a size. If you come a way just a few cm, its the right size. It could be all the swelling still, it can take 3wk to go down.
How do the cups feel they fit? Do you feel well encompassed and properly supported? Is there wrinking in the cup, or is it stretched too tight? The only real thing right now is trial and error Im afraid, and you don't really want to be going out trying on a hundred sizes right now! If you can afford to, get on M&S and get a bunch in the sister sizes, find which fits best and return the rest. Or go for the macom, 1007, stick 'mybreast' in the code and get 15% off!

Re: Advice lovelies
Its great that your swelling has gone down now as you will feel more comfortable.
I found that sports bras do squash my boobs in but it does feel supportive. But if its leaving lines/indentations on the skin then it might be better to get a different size as they will be settling and changing size. I had large areas of numbness too which felt odd and lots of stinging pains but my surgeon said this was just down to muscles stretching.
And I know what you mean about the cone shape, I'm still waiting for mine to look normal. x

Macoms are good because it stretches to accommodate your new additions regardless of size. I couldn't wear mine though as I found the material itchy.I found the M&S zip front bras to be really comfy & soft against your skin & they look fab too! The stinging feeling is a good sign too that nerves are healing. XXX

Re: Advice lovelies
Madonna boobs are absolutely normal hun
Indentations from bras - yup, that's perfectly normal too. Bras should feel supportive, but not 'hurt' at all.
The stinging nipples - that's a good sign! Its a sign of sensation starting to return. Sometime nips can feel sore from the sensation with them becoming extra sensitive, but its all part of the healing and nothing to worry about. If your nips do get sensitive pop a round cotton wipe/make-up pad inside your bra covering your nipple, or some women prefer breast feeding pads this helps give the nipple a nice soft covering instead of your bra which sometimes feel quite abrasive when nips are sensitive. X
