Advice please lovelies :)
Hi girls! Hope you are all OK?
Im pretty sure one of u can help me...
I need advice on a good medium to low impact brathat I can wear for work and for sleeping. Something that comes in a 30E, possibly 32DD depending on the fit.
Been advised my clinic now to wear normal bras as much as possible.
Thanks :)
Jen x

Most medium to low impact bras tend to be crop tops which are pretty difficult to wear with a lot of your wardrobe aren't they.
I don't generally advise supermarket bras because of the lack of support they give 'through recovery' but in your case I think they'd be your best option. Of the two most common supermarket brands (Asda and Tesco) I'd say from personal experience the Tesco bras are the stronger of the two. If you feel they lose elasticity after a few months it would only mean you were then in a low impact bra which as you say is fine 'for you' so this is what I'd advise if you're specifically wanting 'bras'. xx

Thats great, thanks cookie!
The only issue ive had with looking for supermarket ones is that they don't tend to do 30 anything, and DD tends to be 34 and above :( x x

Re: Advice please lovelies :)
Have you thought about wearing 'comfort bras' rather then 'sportsbras'?
You can still wear your high impacts for bed, there's no probs with that. Shove a rolled up pair of socks in the cleavage and you'll get no chest wrinkles from your new big boobs and hopefully keep any sagging at bay too.
But the Belvia comfort bras, there's many copies, but they're not the same and have no support at all, but I'd say the Belvia has medium/low support, but the appeal is the comfort they provide. They give a little lift to the bust too so look nice under your clothes.
I'd very much recommend them for the position you're in now
You can get a pack of 4 for £20 in different colours from Amazon HERE
Just always be sure you're buying the JMl Belvia and no others similar Jen. x

Thats a good idea!
I also had a brainwave, the one I got from my surgeon was great round the ribs but non adjustable on the straps, as I lost swelling it was too big over the shoulders. So..... I can sew it with my machine. That will be perfect for bed :) I already do the sock thing, its so comfy lol x x

Re: Advice please lovelies :)
Sounds like you're pretty much sorted now then.
You'll love the Belvias. It's only like wearing a second skin but they lift your boobs a bit. They give mine a lovely shape. Next to my sportsbras they're my favourite bras.

You could try the Lonsdale sports bras. They come in a 32 band but not sure on biggest cup. They are low impact I would say. Another bra I find really comfy is the m&s extra high impact 2 pack. It's smooth over the cups so good underneath tops and the straps are relatively narrow so you can wear under most things. Despite it being called extra high impact it's not really, I wouldn't wear it for running!

Re: Advice please lovelies :)
Maybe buy yourself one. I think they're selling in Wilkinsons for £6.99 (my sis bought one the other day) or they may be cheaper through Amazon.
For the price of one which is cheap, why not just try the one and see how 'you' feel about them.
With any bras you buy there's always mixed reviews given we're all build differently. I personally find them to fit like old Slippers lol....give it a try. I think you'll like them though.
Just to add - I can't stand them with the pads in. I only like wearing with no padding. Xx

Luuurve the lonsdales, but the size range isn't great. D is the biggest on 32, 34 goes up to an E. They have a bra with adjustable straps and a lower plunge, or a crop style. £4 at sports direct right now (+ Quidco cashback). Must buy some more...!
