Went for my post op today :)
Was so weird being at the hospital again, I'm not sure why, it was just weird.
Nurse said swelling is pretty normal and should get better over the next couple of days. Leftie is settling so well and looks really natural.
Saw my scars and was so happy I wanted to scream. There tiny and so neat.
Now just have to wait till my 6 week so I can go bra shopping.
Bet your all so excited, enjoy every minute coz it all goes so quickly xx

I'm feeling very excited! But only a few days ago I was bottling it, thinking of cancelling, worried about the size etc.

But now totally fine. Sure I'll be a wreck on the day tho!

You've not got long to go either. Do u feel ready?
How long have u been waiting?
I only had to wait 5 weeks so was quite lucky x

It's exciting Sahara, try to keep the excitement there :)
I was so nervous about my needle to the point I thought about chickening out haha. It will so be worth it :)
I'm lucky here all my nurses have been fabby. And the one in theatre with me held my hand when he put the needle in :)
I'm so excited for you. Can't wait to hear how you get on. The days will fly by xxx

Yeah it's been good here Tink. Although I have a huge amount of swelling on one side which they keep having a look at. Over all I feel strangely fine. Discomfort from the inside but haven't complained of pain. Been up and about by myself a bit. Managed to get my pjs on myself and such.
Can't believe I worried so much about the needle going in. The nurse I said I was worried to managed to get me some cream to numb it a bit. Nearly cried while I was in the bed outside theatre but I didn't and it was fine.
Just dying to take off my Macom and get some proper pics taken haha

Glad all went well for you Kati and the nurses are looking after you well :)

I'm not feeling nervous yet just want it to hurry up, I've had many ops and ga's before so not nervous about that and had soo many needles in my lifetime already due to my illness, self injecting etc. my only fear so far is what they'll look like on me! I don't know what to expect apart from them being swollen etc as I was with my mum when she had hers done but I can't picture them on myself!!

I've only had 5 weeks to wait too Sahara so hasn't been too bad, I really feel for th ladies with months to wait that just be so hard for something so desirable!
Glad to hear you're excited, I hope I feel the same when I'm a few days away!
Still need to do my mrsa swab I've left it so late I hope that won't be a problem :S!

It's a great birthday present. I said the same to myself for years- if I'm not happy with my boobs by the time I'm 30- I will have them done! And so glad I didn't wait any longer. Lot of my friends still don't know and few I've told were shocked but mostly the ones who know and my side of family - have been very supportive. I haven't told my partners family personally but I got a feeling it has leaked out and not sure how to tackle it really. I feel I don't need to tell everyone as it's personal choice but knowing them- they probably feel left out xx

Enjoy tomorrow- I had nurse called Melanie at Riverside and she was lovely xx

Thank Kdeee, I shall look out for the nurse. I've only told close family and friends, not told partners family either as they are quite judgemental couldn't be bothered with all the questions etc! Lol they will obviously find out in time can't really hide them ha ha x x z

I felt so hungry too on Sunday.
Good luck. The anaesthetist a bit rash at first but once I got into the theatre she was very nice and calmed me down big time. Also made me laugh. Not long now. Do you know which one you are on the list? I was second and was taken in 9.40am xx
