Re: February Buddies
what are they going to do at your re-op? Put smaller implants on, or will he have to do something else?

Re: February Buddies
I'm having mine on the 2nd of Feb. It's only now that it is slowly starting to sink in. It's not nerves just more like 'responsibility '. I think when I go into the hospital that is when I will get nerves.

Re: February Buddies
I'm having mine done on the 7th of February at highgate hospital. Having waited 6 months I'm getting excited it's only four more weeks. Again I'm not nervous but as it gets nearer I probably will x

Re: February Buddies
Don't have my definite date yet, but know it'll be in February.
I'm waiting for a letter with the date sometime next week. Very excited!
May I ask both Bumblelady & Abbie why you're having re-ops?

Re: February Buddies
I am getting really nervous if I am honest. I know I want it done, but think I am getting so anxious too. I am trying to lose a few pounds before surgery too and normally I would eat when stressed so this is quite a difficult time. Stupid special K plan, I'm hungry!!!!!

Re: February Buddies
Awww pet, I know it's difficult, I'm a stress eater as well, but did manage to avoid putting on weight before my surgery. I just gnawed on a carrot when I got over anxious and I guess the chewing action told my brain that I was eating and to be satisfied LOL. I also found those wholegrain rice 'cakes' were good too (taste a bit like 'Puffed Wheat') as they are very light, low in cals - but because they are quite large in size, lasted a reasonable time if you just nibble away at them.
When I was at the 10 days before stage it really did seem years away, but in reality it did pass surprisingly quickly and then I found myself on the op table thinking "At long last it really is about to happen"
Good luck with the snacking hun - just remember, you don't want to be waking up from the GA and looking down and seeing three humps instead of two.

Re: February Buddies
Thankyou Carol, thats a good thing to keep in mind Two Humps not three please! I am concious of still carrying the baby weight so trying to get happy with that too. Off to online shop some zip up tops now for after. If I tell my husband one more thing about BAs he might blow a fuse I think, poor bloke is sick of me talking about it now! Ah well, thats what on here is for I guess :) xx

Keep at least one of them back pet - it's so gratifying to try it on afterwards - mine looked like hats on top of mountains, the band was nowhere near my breastbone - they looked so funny LOL
