Re: February Buddies
It feels strange. I'm sure they offered some kind of support ;)
Glad you are feeling better each day hun
Lily- your surgeon will give you the best implants. Just need to trust him. Before you know you will be going through the same motions after op- ups and downs. The implants will feel alien to begin with but they will settle and you begin to love them.
Toni put a great quote on another thread saying : after 6 days you hate them, after 6 weeks you like them and after 6 months you love them x x x
Good luck xx

Re: February Buddies
I'm really well thanks. I went back to uni last week that's why I've hardly been on. My healing is going well I'm still getting a bit of pain but nothing major, the under side of my bombs are numb which feels weird. On the plus side I tried on a 34e sports bra and it was a tight squeeze lol how are you kdee? X

Re: February Buddies
34E sounds fabulous I bought a new sports bra yesterday and got fitted into 32E! Chuffed to bits. They don't look massive though.
I'm up and down- worrying about every little twinge/bruise. Treating my twins like they were bags of gold :)
Glad your healing is going well- I need to remind myself that some pain is expected and normal so early post op.
I got some numbness too- between the scar and nipple.
What are you studying?
xx

Re: February Buddies
Wedding Bella what are your pre op stats if u don't mind me asking? My surgeons taking in a few sizes and I'm hoping for the biggest ones- 420s! I see you had 410's, do you have a picture trail? Ahh I'm getting excited now!
I hope you're degree is going well, I'm doing an access course and then a midwifery degree when my youngest is a bit older, cannot wait xxx glad ur doing well too!

Re: February Buddies
Thank you ladies it's a tought degree especially when you have a wee one but it will be worth it in the end. Lily I was a 32b to start with my my surgeon said I had quite a decent amount of tissue but not very much at the top. I think I will end up at least DD. I don't have any pics yet I will make a picture trail ASAP. I'm glad I went for the 410 as opposed to smaller xx

Re: February Buddies
Hey girlies just wondering what painkillers you used in the first few days? I wasn't given any to take home so just been using paracetamol and ibuprofen I had at home and I feel like I need something stronger, really sore! And can't sleep without waking up in pain :( xx

Re: February Buddies
I was told not to use ibuprofen for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after as it thins the blood and can increase risk of bleeding. paracetamol and cocodamol are much better.
I hope you can sleep too Lily. The first few nights were the worst xx

I've still got sensitive nipples and the acne on my boobs is going. I'm still high not dropped atall but they seem to be going out to the side alittle and swelling has totally gone.
