If its still the same tomorrow hun you'd be best to go and see your GP and if you do have an infection its important that tell your surgeon immediately babe.
I hate to say this but you should be prepared.... If you do have an ear infection there is a good possibility your surgery could be postponed lovely.
Surgeons won't operate if you have an infection because they're placing a foreign body (the implant) into your body and if you have an infection the body recognises this foreign body and could lead to the infection reaching it and resulting in you needing the implant explanted.
Sounds dramatic doesn't it hun... But honestly, this is how important it is to ensure you don't have an infection whilst having your op. To go through all that surgery and then risk possible explant is just not something you'd want to consider is it hun.
So REALLY hoping your ear feels better hun

Aaargh, I really feel for you x
I agree, get yourself to your GP just to make sure - as much as boobs are a hugely important moment in your life, your health is more important.
Warm flannel on that side of your face is a good idea, and some paracetemol x

Well......
I went to see my gp...he prescribed some special ear drops, I got a bit teary and said "well I'm MEANT to be having a breast augmentation on Thursday, and now that's probably not happening is it?''
So he said not to worry, I've already had it a few days and with the right treatment is confident it will all be clear come Wednesday!! YES!!! I had convinced myself that it wasn't gunna happen now,but obviously if it's not better and gone by Wednesday morning I know it's not likely....but two lots of the drops down and already a MASSIVE improvement!! So I'm happy...think positive and positive things will happen!!!
Cross your fingers girlies!!!

Is it anti-bs you're taking babe?
You should be informing the hospital of ANY medication you're taking prior to surgery.
Sorry hun, I always feel like the voice of doom on here but its important you let your surgeon know the meds you're taking.
The aneasthetist will them decide whether or not you're able to proceed with surgery babe. Your GP isn't able to make that decision hun.

In the end it was all fine xx

Re: 4days til my op and severe EARACHE!! :(
No just ear drops, I've checked and they are just specifically help to reduce any swelling. Will call the surgeons secretary tomorrow but I've checked the list she gave me(that I lost in a pile of junk I had!!) About what I shouldn't be doing/taking prior to the op and ear drops aren't on it, and the list is as long as my arm!!
