Now 4days!
I got myself up this morning off the sofa!!! Lol
It did take me about 20mins but I did it all on my own!
Still really sore first thing and find breathing a bit tough, but food is staying down now and the pain is bearable :)
Suppose the next step is to sort out the bowel movements. I was worried if I took somethin to help I wouldn't get to the loo in time LOL
Just a quick update and thanks to every1 who has offered support its made me feel loads better

Re: Now 4days!
Good to hear you are moving around and feeling better.
Drink lots of water and eat some prunes to get the bowels moving again.

I've also heard high dosages of vitamin C can get things "moving" so to speak...
Good luck! Glad to hear you're feeling better

Re: Now 4days!
Well done! Really good to hear you're starting to feel a bit better.
There's stuff called Fybogel which you can get over the counter at a pharmacy. It's a powder that you mix in a glass of water and drink a few times a day. I had it after my back operation last year and it helps to 'soften' things up. A lot of painkillers not only bloat you but make things very hard too (ouch!!).
