STILL different sizes!

Surprise surprise Julie never called me back last week. So I rang her yesterday and she just said that my revision forms have been sent off or whatever. Does anyone know the process of this or had any experience with it? I'm expecting to wait ages because everything in the past has taken weeks and weeks. Each little step takes forever

I haven't had to go through the re op process, I would however email Julie your PCC and ask for time scales even a rough guide , say that you feel stuck in limbo & unable to plan anything at the moment.
Also you could say that it's starting to stress you out the not knowing , hopefully she will be able to give you some advice as you'll not have been the only one to have been through this process with them.

thanks mirren, I emailled her a few days ago with no reply as yet. I might give her a call in the next few days. I've been ill and feeling sorry for myself and lying in bed with my boob in my armpit is making me a very unhappy bunny! haha

oooh I just checked my email and there was a reply just tonight! She said she will discuss the pocket issue with Mr Traynor and get back to me

it's been almost a month since my last post on this thread and I had no further word from Julie. I've emailled her twice and had no response. How can companies do this to people?!! I was trying clothes on in a fitting room yesterday and nearly crying yet again because of the state of my boobs. The heavy weight of my bigger one compared to my smaller one literally irritates the hell out of me. I feel irritable and uncomfortable all the time. Wish I could chop them off my bloomin self!!

I would just call twice a day everyday til you get an answer then that way you can let them know that you will call til its sorted

your in your aftercare time arent you if I remember right so keep on at them

Hun, you need to make yourself heard , phone everyday for an update and see how far they've got , they can't not answer your calls and don't give up till you have a date for reop .

Hi this is appalling treatment you are receiving and I agree with Sahara I would go down to their office or clinic and kick up a fuss until a manager spoke to me, sorry this kind of treatment makes me so angry, hope you get sorted x

This is just disgusting treatment on their half! Is there anyone else you can ring to ask rather than her? I would be ringing everyday to get this sorted. They cannot leave you like this. Do MYA have a head office you can ring and speak to a manager about this? I really hope you manage to get this sorted out Hun. Xx

I was literally going to cause hell on the other day about the waiting I've done when my phone rang and it was Julie. She says my re-op has been approved! And she has agreed to sit in on another consultation with Mr Traynor, because of how horrible it was last time. I'm pretty nervous about that to be honest. So I now have a consultation booked to further discuss my re-op AND I have had my op date requested by Amelia the girl at MYA, who says she will call me back on Monday to let me know if that's been booked. She said re-ops have to have the booking approved or whatever. 

And guess when the re-op date is that I have requested?!? this is the best part... next month!!! Can you believe that?! After all the waiting I've done and stress I've had for almost 2 years and I could be booked in and done in a month's time. It's crazy.

I will obviously keep you all updated and let you know once my op is all booked and sorted

I'm just getting ready now to head out to my consultation, and my pre-op will be straight after. Feeling a bit nervous!!
Also my surgery date has changed but only a week later so it's gonna be the 27th May. Luckily I could still persuade my manager to switch my holidays off work! And my mam has the day off to come down to the hospital with me :) I got a thingy to sign about my operation and it said on there that I'll be a day case which is good!

I hate reading the hurt, the pin and the anxiety that some of us have to endure just to claim what's rightfully ours, but sadly the truth if it is this will always happen until the government finally regulate this business and protect 'us' the paying customer.

I think I've pretty much decided to go for the 340 in my left breast. I don't think 380 will make much difference from the 410 that I have now. Think I'll make some rice boobs to see the difference!

I asked about pocket revision and Mr Traynor said the pocket can't be changed. He literally baffles me. I've read lots about pocket revision!!! He just says every word like complete proven fact, very bluntly and then moves on. Such an intimidating guy and if I was to question what he said it'd just turn into an argument so I just left it.

The way I see it is that I'm getting a smaller implant put in which is what I wanted, and after this I'm just going to start saving to go elsewhere when they need doing again. Probably Dr Ragbir at the Nuffield hospital who was my second opinion and such a world apart from what I've been having to deal with!

Anyways I have to sort out my own transport and hotel for my op with it being quite a travel from where I live, and I'm having to find someone to be my chaperone because my mam could only get the first day off work and not the second day when I'd be travelling back home. She is going to really try to get both days off so fingers crossed, but it's typically its whit week when everyone has holidays booked off!! I have messaged a few friends so I'll get it sorted. The hotel I'm booking is only £39 for the one night but the train fare is going to be around £125 for 2 people return. At least thats all I have to pay so I am thankful really.

I have 24 days to go and I dont know what size implant to choose. I have 410s now and I can choose either the 380cc or 340cc to go in the left side instead. I don't think 30cc will show much difference but will 70cc be too far?!
