Ahhhhh mums are great! really do hope all goes well though and there's no need to fight for what you need gorgeous. Xx
Re: Where do you stand. ..
Great appointment, I need a reop but James is completely supportive and will contact mybreast. I've bottomed out but it won't get worse, potentially going to have a furry Brazilian in naughty boob x

Re: Where do you stand. ..
Wonderful news hun. Not that you need revision, but that you didnt need to argue your case - James is one of the good guys... You're always in good hands with him. Xx
Re: Where do you stand. ..
Well I contacted James last weds and he said his team will book me an appointment to see him but I've not heard or recieved anything. Im anxious to know what he thinks my options are or if it's just something I have to live with.
I've no idea if ive bottomed out or if I've just got symmetry problems, either way its doing my head in and I still cover up just like I did pre ba!

Re: Where do you stand. ..
If you're getting no contact by phone or email lovely, then send a letter by recorded delivery and set them a timescale to respond lovely. They can't deny not receiving the information then to get your booking sorted.
Its horrible when you're not happy or confident with your result hun, I know. But for some its not easy to just get that sorted and we need to take steps to get things done ourselves... Send the recorded letter lovely. They can't ignore that and I hope all goes well for you.
For those who have had problems with MyBreasts staff, it really would be advisable for you all to send in a letter of complaint about the handling of your aftercare. The more complaints they get, the harder pushed they are to actually do something about it.
Its a shame, because otherwise MyBreast are a wonderful collection of surgeons. They're just badly managed there. Xx

Re: Where do you stand. ..
Like lisa and cookie said, really try and get an appointment. Like you said, mybreast have been great but its really annoying when the company are not managed well because it gives you a bad impression of them. I think cookies idea is a great one too because then they cant ignore you,
Hope you get an appointment asapxx

Re: Where do you stand. ..
It's not my breast I'm waiting on, it's James team at his office. ...I contacted James direct in the hope that it would get me an appointment but im yet to have his guys send me anything. I don't want to hassle him as he's a very busy man, it's just each day feels like a lifetime waiting for an appointment.
If I had the money then id just have the op done again and save all the feeling unhappy and stress of this x

Re: Where do you stand. ..
You're a very busy woman babe who paid him good money for his time!
Don't worry about hassling babe. You paid a lot of money for your aftercare and if its not provided within reasonable time then don't hesitate in chasing them up dove.
James is no more important than you are and right now... Your needs are greater! Xx

Re: Where do you stand. ..
And as cookie said hun your a very busy lady, that paid him a hell of a lot of money toget the boobs you wanted! If it was a dress or top that you bought and let's say the seams had come apart and you didn't realise, would you throw it in the bin and say oh well? Or would you take it back to the shop and ask for a refund or exchange? It's no different hun, you paid for a service and you haven't received the 'goods' you paid for.

Re: Where do you stand. ..
Guys, if my scar has moved onto my actual breast rather than in the crease then does it mean I've bottomed out?
Still no appointment sent from James`s staff

Re: Where do you stand. ..
Not necessarily Dove, but if you do have more lower pole under the nipple then upper then it could be a possibility hun, yes.
Send a letter by registered post to the clinic hun. Explain James' findings and him wanting to see you but you have yet to have the appointment needed. Tell them how long you've already waited and you feel you've been very patient, but now feel you've waited long enough for this appointment and expect to hear from them with an appointment to see James within the next 7 days.
Summer boobs are keeping all surgeons quite busy at this time of year and clinics tend to give new patients priority, but if you send the letter by registered post, they can't deny receiving it. Phone all's not passed on and emails can all be excused, but not your registered letter hun and you keep the evidence of sending too.
I know James is a good surgeon and its the British way to be 'polite' but enough is enough now Dove, its time you got firm with them hun. Xx

Re: Where do you stand. ..
I guess so cookie, ill will ring his clinic again tues and ask to be given an appointment over the phone, if not then ill put it in writing. I just don't want them to think of me as being a pain and wasting time but he did say id have a 3 month post op check and I'm yet to have it. Do you think I should try to get the appointment booked through mybreast or just keep contact with James and his team? X

Re: Where do you stand. ..
You've been trying through his team lovely and it hasn't got you anywhere. Try calling !yBreast themselves for an appointment hun. But if you still get no joy, then do put in writing lovely. Its the best way of getting their attention if you're being played around. Xx
Re: Where do you stand. ..
Ive never gone via mybreast ever with james. Iv always gone through his receptionists and they book me in via telephone never been a problem :/ Sorry your not happy hun xx
