Re: Where do you stand. ..
I agree with misf1 lovely. If your nipples look to be sat high on your breast it could be that you've bottomed out. Making an appointment with your surgeon and having them assess your concerns would be your next step babe. They 'may' request you wait a little longer to see how things go and hard as it is to do you would be required to wait out the specified period, but if you're still unhappy after that then you could really push for something to be done. Do ensure your concerns are noted in your words by your surgeon at each visit. What's said in your notes is so important should you require a re-op later. Xx
Re: Where do you stand. ..
Some good advice here from the girlies. The most important thing for now is to get your concerns down in writing. By that I mean make sure your surgeon makes a literal note that you're unhappy and the reasons why. If it comes down to a re-op in the future, you have a far better position to plead your case if you've made it known that you're unhappy from the start.

Well just wanted to see how ur getting on and when ur appointment is. My mum is coming with me to my appointment to make sure something is done about. Re: Where do you stand. ..
Dove & wellies-Didn't you both go in on the same day with the same ps?
You both need to fight for what you paid for girls. Don't let these big company's fob you off! The issues you have are different from just wishing you had a different size. If you brought something from a shop that was faulty you would exchange it, right ! Sorry for the dodge comparison but you deserve what you paid for! Big love girls xxxx

Re: Where do you stand. ..
I can't believe you girls have just been left with boobs that clearly have issues! I think it's Discusting of James and mybreast to keep fobbing you off!! All I can say is keep persevering girls! You will get the boobs you wanted, you might just have to fight for them, which again is unfair, and you shouldn't have to!! But I've been here long enough now to know that sometimes, it's the only way. Do keep us updated girls xx

Girls I'm so sorry you're not happy with your results. Ring up and email them everyday I would, a few times a day! Keep on fighting. It must so so upsetting and very disheartening. Littlewellies try Tanesha at my breast, I spoke to Lauren just before she went on maternity and she told me Tanesha was taking over from her. I don't have a direct contact or email as Lauren had arranged all my appointments before she left. But sure you can ring the main contact number and ask for her. It's disgusting he is saying they look fine when you are both quite obviously unhappy.

Re: Where do you stand. ..
Mybreast haven't even acknowledged my email. They're a nightmare, we are talking one email of complaint and one asking for my serial numbers. Nothing. I haven't even signed any paperwork with them, they just took my money. They don't have any medical forms of mine. All they have is a few emails discussing appointments. I could be a 14 year old girl with bi polar and high bloody pressure for all they know. They only know my name email address and phone number x

Re: Where do you stand. ..
Send your complaint by registered post... This way you have an acknowledgement that they have received your letter and read it. Should you need to take things further at a later date this receipt could also be used as evidence. X

Re: Where do you stand. ..
Oh and I'd just like to say that I've not seen my surgeon since my 6 week check so have not had the chance to get his opinion yet.
I've not spoken to mybreast either as id like to see what my surgeon thinks first....soo I just wanted you ladies to know I've not had any bad experiences with either of them yet and I hope that when I see my surgeon, he can talk through my options with me.
Thanks for all your replies, it's so nice to have you guys to talk to about all this as its auch a stress after spending all this money and being disappointed
I will be ringing to book an appointment with my surgeon tomorrow x

Re: Where do you stand. ..
MyBreast are generally very good. Their communication though between staff and patient I do believe has a lot to be worked on but as far as complications and problems... It really is VERY rare that we see any from them at all. Xx
Re: Where do you stand. ..
They were appalling in the way they treated caz, having read her emails and helped her with her responses I don't think they've done much to work on communication. Anyway see what James says, he was very good in helping caz in the end xx

Re: Where do you stand. ..
I'm so sorry to hear you girls are having issues.
From my experiences so far, the office staff at Mybreast are not fantastically organised. I've been a little disappointed with the pcc aspect but I am happy with my actual care from the surgeon and nurses.
Have you got some contacts now? I was dealing with Tahrima who also has taken over from Lauren. I can send you email addresses if that's any use? xx

James was constant in assuring Caz would get her re-op. the admin were very much the problem as I said, they do need to step up and get that communication sorted to avoid the stress that was put upon Caz when it was clear the re-op would be done for free and thankfully it was.
The thing about myBreast is they will only use BAAPS members so you know you're getting the best surgeons. So with that you can be sure the support you'll get from your surgeon if a re-op is genuinely required will be there for you 100%. Unlike the larger commercial clinics were the final say is with the clinic. X
Re: Where do you stand. ..
I went for a consultation with mybreast, they kept sending me appointments for other people with phone numbers addresses dates of birth. The pccs are useless in my opinion sending private information to me is really naughty I think. Hope you both get sorted soon though xx
