Does age affect implant placement?
Hi,
just wanted to know wether age is a factor when deciding on where a implant should be placed?
Im not 100% if it is correct, but have heard that unders are less likely to drop or sag over time and for me who's 21 and have not had children but am hoping to in the next ten years wonder if that could be a deciding factor?
I am open to having overs or unders and know that its based on my body but had to ask!
Thank you,
Jennifer x

Yes unders are less likely to sag, but that doesn't stop the natural breast tissue and skin going south Hun x

It is, have you seen a 3rd surgeon and go with majority? What were their reasons for the placements? X

Re: Does age affect implant placement?
Hi Lisa I saw 5 surgeons in total as after my 2nd I was like u so confused then a 3rd and 4th confused me even more. I thought about what they all said and thought id made my decision with overs. Then I saw a 5th who said partials with a crescent nipple lift when I came out I was relieved and knew he was the one for me so I would recommend seeing at least another 2.
Hope this helps x

Re: Does age affect implant placement?
I would definatly go to at least another 1 consult Hun. I was told I had to have unders as no natural breast tissue left. If I had been given a choice I would definatly had overs, but if I wanted overs I would have needed a lift aswell, so next time I will probably have a lift and see what placement is recommended. I disagree about unders being a longer recovery, I may have just been lucky but I felt fine after surgery, I had no pain, no tightness and I could lift my arms straight away x so do your research and have some more consults, but be sure to ask their reasons for the placement choice xx
