Aww sorry I forgot you can't shower yet. Not long though and it is the best feeling ever.
Good glad your ok, I'm back at work today... Just glad that one lady knows but none of the others do I'm hoping they won't notice xx
Sophia not long now hope your all excited it will be the best day and it's all about you. Eddy yours is coming quick soon are you all prepared?? Xx

Vix - good luck for tomorrow!!! June is just flying by... Before we know it all the June girls will have their boobies :)

I'm 2 weeks post op today and can't believe how quickly it has all passed... Very scary but just excited to get my all clear for wires :) for all the girlies who wished me luck for my exams.. I passed them all with 2.1's so your good luck went a LONG way!! :) so happy! xxx

for only two weeks that's amazing healing honey, you sound like you're really looking after yourself!! it must do nice to kick back and relax now!

I am so nervous hunt! I've never been operated on before so i am sh*#*#*#*g myself! I think the moment I get gowned up and on the bed it'll properly dawn on me:drool:

Honestly hun you will be fine! It was my first time having a GA and op and seriously it is nothing to worry about and im usually the most squaemish person ever! Don't worry about it i promise you, u will look back and think why was i so worried? xx

G congrats on your results and glad to hear you are healing well :) quick question how was your first shower? I'm allowed to shower when I like but its slightly scary!
Be thinking of you at 1 vix, deep breaths and relax, is such a life changing day so enjoy it :) gotta wear my stockings for two weeks!!

Yep got to wear then day and night, nurse said my dr is strict with the stockings, trying to figure out what shoes will disguise them at work next week! Going to get oh to help shampoo as have limited arm movements, he just popped out to buy me a bigger band sports bra bless him as have a fair bit of swelling atm xx

Hangle - My first shower was amazing!! I hadn't had a shower in a week - just shallow baths so I didn't feel properly clean which was horrible! If you have been told you can shower I would definitely go for it though hun :) Do you have dressings on?

My mum is a nurse - she used to work in a wound clinic and she was shocked that I had to wait a week for a shower. She said her patients were always told they could shower 1/2 days after.

Just avoid rubbing any bodywash near your scars hun :) xx

Vix - You will fly through it and before you know it you will be on the boobie side of life ;) I had to keep my stockings on for a few days just as long as I was up and mobile to keep the blood flow going but different clinics advise differently! xxx

good to hear you're oh is looking after you hangle :) I think the weather is taking a turn next week so disguising your stockings should be easy lol xx
g, interesting what your mum said. I suppose as long as the scars aren't wet it shouldn't be a problem to shower xx
