2 weeks in all. The nurse said last week to stay up for another wk in order to help bring the rib swelling down. Thats almost all gone now, and bruising is on its last shades. Just wish the muscles would loosen and allow me to stand up straight! The sexy hunch is look is so not in right now!

eeeeek my clinic called me this afternoon to tell me i'll be picked up between 5 and 5.30am on friday!!! 
sooo excited but thats bloody early!!
still, i wanted an early admission time so there we go!
at least i won't starve too much and i hope this means i'll be first on the list, so hoping it'll be over before i know and maxing out on recovery time!!

Oh Blue, that's such an exciting call to get! At least that early on the road there shouldn't be too much traffic! And should be a nice early surgery time!

Sophia, I think it's quite common due to the trauma. I still feel bruised round the bottom of my ribcage, but it'll pass. It's why it's recommended to get a bra extender, or a band size up. I had to send hubby out the day after for different sizes, have been in a 38b, but back in a 36c now.

hello ladies i maybe shouldnt be laying on my sides i am quite swollen and starting to thin k that this wont be helping, i got my 2 v pillow in an upside down u shape, soooo comfy a bit supporting my back and then the other i been hugging and so good sleep!

charlie glad your healing well hun and the sticky is off, mines thursday really hope mine comes off and they take the stitches out! The bands are a pain arent they, but its getting there time goes quickly

Glad your sleeping well halo , yes in 35 minutes I'm 8 days away :) time is going by keeping busy getting organised last exams Thursday thank god so time is soon going cant believe this end of year as a mature student and that in 8 days I get to be a better me returning to what pre breast feeding / pregnancy/ expressing ruined :) xx

Evening girls, hope your all ok. Oh has now left, family popped in to see me earlier everyone can't believe how well I've taken it all, mum told me she thought I would bottle it! Since having some antibiotics through my cannula hand has been so sore :( next dose will be at midnight, I've requested no codeine as worried I'll be sick on it so sticking to paracetamol xx
