Re: June Buddies
It's also a bit of an abs workout isn't it?!! :-)
Glad dinner went well, one outing a day sounds good, gets you out for a bit of exercise but still saving energy for the all important boobs recovery! Xx
Surgeons have differing opinions on Arnica Sophia, some say take it, some say not! Have you asked your clinic? Xx

Re: June Buddies
arnica is homeopathic so if you have some bruising that you think it might help with, there shouldnt be any reason not to take it hun.
i didnt take arnica although my clinic and surgeon recommended it (because it contains lactose and i'm dairy intolerant) but i don't bruise very easily anyway so didnt feel it would be necessary. as it was i had minimal bruising anyway which had disappeared by day 4 so no probs.
showering very much depends on your surgeon and the type of dressings used sophia.
we have had all sorts here on the forum, i was allowed to shower straightaway, and some girls aren't allowed to shower for 1 - 2 weeks! best to check with your clinic hun!
eddy yes dinner was fine, i saw your question on recovery on the other thread, my turning point started on day 4 and by day 6 i felt so so much better. now on day 8 i'm absolutely able to go out for dinner, i just make sure to not overdo things x

Re: June Buddies
hi zoe, welcome to the june buddies! :)
wow 450cc from a 34AA, that'll take you to a great size!! congrats again!
just make sure you keep on top of your pain meds, and if you have icepacks they're a godsend too on top of your boobs (nowhere near the incisions though!)
have you got a V pillow to help you sleep more comfortably? on our backs and raised is not the greatest sleeping position, but it has to be done :)
which surgeon /clinic did you have?
rest up well, hope you feel better soon x

Re: June Buddies
morning girls. midge, I did read your other post but as I'm on here I'll update here:) the first week is generally the worst hun. its great you're getting up and about as that's the best way to drain the fluid and swelling from your boobs:) coming off your painkillers might help with yoursickness and maybe only take paracetamol and ibuprofen if it gets really bad? I hope you enjoy your girly afternoon:)
welcome zoe:) I didn't have straps but as long as your dressings don't get wet that should avoid infection. and ice packs are a god send!
eddy, we're almost in July now:)
Sophia and Blue hope you guys are okay xx
