Yay congratulations vix! Happy you are feeling ok, hope you manage some sleep tonight and happy healing
G- got waterproof dressings and dissolvable stitches so will try and manage a shower tomorrow and be gentle with them/no shower gel etc. Lefty is giving me bit of grief so sat here with a sanitary towel in my sports bra!

Re: June Buddies
Welcome Hayley :) hope your check up goes ok tomorrow.
Vix bet you can't wait to get home. I spent yesterday on the sofa and pottering around the flat, had a nap. Finding it hard to walk as so swollen!
Thank you eddy first night home went well, I slept in bed, oh on sofa. I was worried around rolling over (I don't think there is any chance of that happening at the moment)! So oh surrounded me with cushions. Not experiencing any pain apart from very occasionally lefty will get a bit stingy, just feel so stiff and back is starting to get sore from being propped up. Eddy how is your blood pressure? Hope your doing ok :) xx

Sofa wasn't too bad vix but think I'll be sticking to the bed. I forgot to ask how long sleep propped up, think its s few weeks? I just wore some joggers with lovely stocking underneath and then my sports bra with a zip up hoody over the top, looked such a mess lol. Vix has your oh taken time off to look after you? Xx

Re: June Buddies
That's great that your both off for two weeks. I'm due back to work Wednesday...don't even want to think about that yet! V pillow is prob the best £7 I've ever spent, we've now got his and hers v pillows as oh kept using mine! I remember now my surgeon said one week wearing stockings, asked my sister and she said she was told one week by him and the nurses so not sure why that nurse told me two. I will check at my appointment next Tuesday, finding them so hot, hoping weather cools down a bit! I'm attempting my first shower this morning, bit scared! Xx

Re: June Buddies
Had a shower and feel better for it now, oh had to wash my hair then blow dry it (think he secretly enjoyed being a hairdresser for a little bit haha). I'm trying to find a happy medium of doing things for myself and not overdoing it but worried I'm relying on him too much, we are going to attempt a little walk around the flats later as think a bit of fresh air might help.
Hope everyone's doing ok today xx
