Re: June Buddies
g, so excited for you girl!
so, I had my appointment with my surgeon, the third since I booked! he said I will be covered for complications but not cc as it's all down to how your body heals. He said that a lot of companies that say they cover for it only cover the cost of the implants and not the wholesurgery. He said that any problems I have i see him whenever I need to and was very reassuring. He did ask if Iwas ready and that I didn't needto have to op because I am fine without it. Which then made me question myself again!
I think I need to have a good thinkagain. problem is with me that I can over think stuff and talk myself out of it. . . . but after I thought that I found myself thinkingabout how I would feel if I didn't have the op and how rubbish i felt this weekend when my bikini looked rubbish! having a right moment!!:( xx

Re: June Buddies
Thanks Vix!! :) I think its great you went to see your surgeon again, we pay good money for their advice so its definitely worth taking their opinion into consideration. Mine told me the only way my boobs would change a this stage was if i fell pregnant (which i don't plan for another good while!!) so this was sort of a deciding factor for me.
I would have a good think about it hun and even make a list of pro's and con's of having the surgery this really helped me make up my mind as to whether it was right for me. Ultimately it is entirely your decision and i am positive you will make the right one. xxx

Re: June Buddies
Oh vix hun sorry you are feeling uncertain :( this whole process is such an emotional rollercoater. I agree with you about spending some time thinking about wether this is right for you, it may just be that you need a bit more time to decide if you are 100% ready. What made me
100% sure on having a ba after i had my consultations was that I knew if I never went ahead with it I would spend the rest of my life regretting it.
Whatever you decide we are all here for you, at the end of the day it's down to whatever makes you happy and is right for you xx

Awe no vix! All I can suggest is you said you felt crap in your bikini and you can change that now while you have the cash etc, you may never get this opportunity again but if your unsure hold off for a bit ((hugs))

Re: June Buddies
Congrats Charlii, hope you're home recovering and you're loving the new boobs! Look forward to hearing all about it!
Blue - Same as you THG but with Michael Payne, he was a close second at the time I booked, silver lining is all this last minute rearrange is that it's quite a bit cheaper at THG than my original place, so am pleased about that, compensates for all the travelling and means more budget for bras! oh and thanks for the list you put up, really helpful, am using it cross check against mine! :-)
Vix, hope you make the right decision for you, there are so many questions and what ifs on this journey, but you almost have to step back and say ultimately what will make you happy long term. If you keep coming to the same conclusion, then you know this will always be on the agenda. Like the girls say, make a list of pro's and con's, imagine if you didn't have it done, and imagine if you did have them done, what makes you happier? I know it's not easy when you're in two minds though hun. xx
g- how brilliant you're all paid up, its just hours to go for you now! can't wait to hear all about it when you're on the other side!
I can't believe how many of us there are in June! it's a super busy month!

Re: June Buddies
aw vix, sorry to hear you're having thoughts, I am the expert on second, third, gazillionth thoughts lol!
i too thought long and hard about this, then thought i had decided and then had a massive wobble!!
the girls on here really helped me, the two main things being: how would you feel when your BA day comes along but its not your day anymore? relieved or disappointed?
and if you didnt have it done now, would the thought of having it done go away?
for me, thats how i came to my conclusion that i couldnt not have it done.
but its a big decision and a very personal thing, and its good that you're thinking things through!
maybe its not the right time for you at the moment? in any case don't feel stressed, we're all here for you whatever you decide hun xxxx
halo, does it not say on the packet about how many arnica to take? i think its like every few hours or so! but i discovered that they contain lactose, and i'm lactose intolerant so i may not take them after all... hmm. will check with my pcc.
G, i'm all paid up too, crazy!!!
eddy, what i forgot on my list was reusable cool packs, i thought they would be more convenient than frozen peas :)

Re: June Buddies
Me too Halo, just want it to be end of the month! My pack says two pills every two hours for the first six hours, followed by 2 pills 4 times daily, starting 3 days before surgery.
Cheers for reminding me about the ice packs Blue, that was on the list but fell off at some point! Cookie mentioned Hibiscrub/Hibi Wash on another thread so I got that too, it's meant to be good for showering in before surgery.
Does anyone wear contacts, whether it's ok to wear during surgery while we're under? A question for the PCC probably but in case anyone has asked the question already?

Oh Halo, also important you don't touch the pills itself, the Pharmacist was really particular about telling me to take it straight from the tube!! xx

Re: June Buddies
hey eddy, i looked at the hibi wash stuff but was quite expensive so didnt buy it...
pretty sure you can't wear contact lenses while you're under GA!! my optician always freaks out and doesn't event want me to take a nap in them, so def not under GA I would think! x
