Hows the nerves? I am really calm ad hope i stay lile thos till surgery and after if poss!! Im trying to do everything today so not rushing round tomorrow , going to get my v pillow in bit and antiseptic wipes, will look in boots and primark for couple tops and drop travel cot to my grandparents today, but first getting dogs trimmed and washed can't stop thinking about the surgery though no matter what I do Lols

Oh and how come you know your op time g? your Dolan park too aren't you I asked when she rang before and she just said don't know just know admission time Xxx

blue - I will definitely take some pre-op pictures - although an ironing board is probably very similar :p haha. We have beautiful weather this week.. up to 20 degrees so going to make the most of it today and maybe go a wee walk :) ..a bit gutted that ill be stuck in bed during the nice weather (doesn't come very often in northern ireland) but might get a wee sun lounger out and lie in the shade though for the rest of the week! xx

Halo - i know!! i can't believe how quickly it has all come in.. I haven't really experienced any really bad nerves but it is on my mind 24/7. I'm just hoping i stay this way for tomorrow! but id say going to bed tonight ill be having all sorts of thought running through my mind lol.

I live in northern ireland so I'm going through a clinic called the fitzwilliam so they give your admission time and i asked to be first on the list.. so I'm in surgery for around 11/11.30... no hanging around!! Hopefully you get first hun! xx

i am not sure what time im going down vix they couldnt say, but will be the first question i ask when im there, got myself a cheap orange zip up hoody and grey sweatpants from asda to come out in and got my vpillow 2 for 15pound atm in argos! Loving how comfy they are

Blue couldnt find the hibiscrub/wash but superdrug had a 3for2 on all makeup today, i got carried away spending silly money on the wrong things xx

Hey, mine are done now, had them on Monday morning, in quite alot of pain now every time I move, also shooting pains in my left nipple lol! Not sleeping at night either, they have only sent me home with Paracetomol and ibuprofen, did you guys get anything else? I don't think these are strong enough : ( x

I know some1 was sent out with something else not sure exactly what though, but she said she wasn't taking them as they were making her feel spaced out and did t like them, have you called your nurse to see what else you can take xxx

I have codeine here aswell (not prescribed by hospital), I took two yesterday but got the sweats and thought I was going to faint! lol I will see how I feel tomorrow as the pain isn't major at the mo and then maybe call the hospital x

Hopefully 1 the ladies that have had there ba can come along and help u in the meantime hope your pain gets better soon though is this day 3? Xx

Congrats Emily, I would see how you get on and if you feel like you need stronger then ring your clinic. I've had codeine a few times and it makes me sick :( I hope you start feeling better soon :)

Having a bit of a panic/nerves starting to kick in today. I emailed my clinic this morning advising I haven't been booked in for a pre op appointment and need to know asap to give work enough notice. Lady rang this afternoon and only slot they have is this Friday at 11.30. Hospital is an hour drive from my work so will mean I will be out of the office for a few hours. I have no holiday left so will have to make up the time which is fine but i Feel bad as will have to rely on someone to cover me while I'm out. Sorry to go on, think its all sort of hit me that I'm actually having this done soon! Xx

Hangle I had my preop over the phone why don't you call an see if you can do this also? They suggested lloyds pharmacy for a pulse and blood pressure taken to give to them

She said that I have to go in for bloods, Mrsa swabs, blood pressure, weight and ECG. its just their precedure (believe me i wish i didnt have to have blood taken but i guess its better to be safe and get it all checked out, im fit and healthy so im sure it will be ok). my sister had to go through all of that and was there for hours so fingers crossed they are fairly quick when I go! Xx

hey eddy i am feeling still quite calm, i keeop getting the odd butterfly that sneaks in every now and again my mind kps trying to wander to the op but kleep telling myself nope, not thinking about that bit i will blink and it will be like an hr sleep, and i love my sleep lol

Lol! Loving the sleep too! Exactly halo, don't think about that bit, concentrate on not having your pips anymore and that it'll be done in a blink! Will you have your partner with you to drive you down, it's an early one tomorrow, are you all packed ready to go? Did you find the hibiscrub in the end or did you get distracted again??! :-) xxx
