Re: Worst day :(
I know I understand cookie! I will start taking the antibiotics tomorrow I promise.. I'm just really hoping my date doesn't get changed not due to excimer but the fact myself and my mum have booked the time off work and it will be very hard for her to change this so if it gets changed there is the risk of not being able to get there or have someone with me for 24 hours after etc etc. I really hope THG understand this and say its okay for me to still go ahead for the 18th? Do you think there is a good chance I will be able to if I explain properly xx

Re: Worst day :(
I do... But start the meds TODAY! The sooner you start them, the sooner you end them and the sooner they're out of your system hun and ready for surgery.
Just relax babe, get them meds down you ASAP and get yourself fit for surgery... Honestly lovely, if your honest with the clinic, keep them updated, give them the date you finish the anti-bs and the date of your surgery for them to pass on to the anaesthetist to give the all clear which I think will be fine you'll be back on track again gorgeous...
Big hugs there's not one of us here who doesn't understand how you're feeling right now babe, but we ALL care about you... So chin up, things WILL be OK xxx

Re: Worst day :(
Jasmine, the thing is, having antibs doesn't stop you from having a GA! People have operations every day while taking antibiotics, so hopefully, providing you get the infection under control, there's every chance your surgery will still go ahead babe!
As Cookie told me a week ago, don't panic till you have to ;-)

Re: Worst day :(
To get 7 days worth you have an infection babe. Start them tonight and as cookie said sooner you start sooner you're off them. If you delay I doubt your surgery will go ahead because you'll still have an infection whereas at least if it's cleared up you should hopefully still be ale to go ahead. X

Re: Worst day :(
If you start the meds tonight then the infection will be gone when ur op comes round, if you don't take the meds then ur putting ur op date at risk. The meds are doing to help you get your op.
Hope it all works out
