Today's been the worst!!
So I thought I was pretty lucky not having much pain at all until today!! My boobs feel like they are going to explode! My left side almost has a burning sensation and hurts to touch! Is this normal?? I couldn't wait to come home and take my soft bra off. Is it bad to go braless?? I could live without a bra all day, it's such a relief. I'm hoping it's just the heat.. Today got pretty warm so maybe I'm swelling up ? I keep having these sharp shooting pains too! Like one will shoot a pain and then the other one will follow.. It's like there talking to each other :-(

Re: Today's been the worst!!
Yes I think I remember being more sore later on about 1.5 weeks post op... I think part of it is the nerves are healing up causing those shooting pains, and then because you have more feeling you are aware of the dicomfort of the implant in there, and it takes awile for the skin to stretch to accomodate the implant so they feel heavy, tight and sore...
Before you know it they will be feeling good, i promise! xx

Are your boobs actually hot sweetness or have any redness? Has the swelling just come all of a sudden at 10 days post-op? Is the pain VERY bad and do you have a temperature? If yes, then I think you should just give your clinic a quick call and explain your symtoms to them them sweetheart, don't panic, it's just something that should be discussed with your clinic if you experience those symptoms early post-op..
If it's just 'sensations' you're experiencing that aren't hot to the touch and your breasts have gradually swollen or you know you've overdone things that may have caused swelling and you feel fine in yourself, then it's all a normal part of your recovery and don't worry about it babe. xx

Re: Today's been the worst!!
Thank you :-)
I had mastitis 5 yes FIVE times last year when I was breastfeeding so I know the signs to look for for that.. (no fun!!)
I really think it was a mixture of the heat and the bra.. I dressed cooler today and wore a sports bra and I have felt fine! I guess they aren't ready for a soft bra just yet..

Re: Today's been the worst!!
That's goos sweetheart, you do have to watch for infection early post-op which why I asked all the questions, a sudden swelling and rise of temp with excessive pain and tenderness is an indication of this and should be investigated - Sounds like all is good for you though sweetness, really pleased for you, keep 'em babies well supported! xx

Hi pink_jade
Don't mean to laugh but lmao at 'they're talking to each other' haha! What a great way of thinking about it!
The post op info I have been given from Transform does say in the weeks following you should expect numbness, stiffness and shooting pains. Sounds like you're 'textbook' lol!
I had mastitis 3 times with my son and 4 times with my daughter. I swear I started halucinating with one of the fevers I had on one of the times. Horrible horrible horrible. But kept going and fed them both for a year lol xx
