what was your worst fear?
Reading all the posts from the 'nervous newbies' can you remember what your worst fear was?
My main concern was scarring (thankfully they are fine and fading fast) but I also had mighty nightmares pre-op.... I was terrified of waking up afterwards, looking down my gown and not seeing ANYTHING, not even what I started with, just SCARS!!!!!

Re: what was your worst fear?
I think my worst fear was coming round from the GA, peeking down inside my pj's and seeing nothing had changed and then the surgeon coming in and saying that there had been complications and they were not able to put the implants in and because of the complications I would not be able to have a BA at any time in the future. The thought of that scared the living daylights out of me

Re: what was your worst fear?
My biggest fear is nipple sensation. Not regaining full pleasure sensation of my nipples. That and perhaps concerns with the size and how it'll turn out!

Re: what was your worst fear?
Mine was that I would wake up with boobs like the rice boobies I tried (as they really did terrify me) and they would look too big and silly on my small frame.

Re: what was your worst fear?
My biggest fear was scars (as I was meant to have a full uplift), that I would be too small and also that I would need a re-op!
Well as I stand now I have bad scars (in places) and will need a re-op due to double bubble and bottoming out. However, not too disheartened as I get to get a fantastic end result. Something’s we don't have any control over so just have to go with the flow.
I am being positive and believe everything will turn out well.

Re: what was your worst fear?
My worst fear was my boobs not looking right after the surgery. I liked the shape of boobs before the surgery they were just too small. So I was worried that they were going to be uneven or misshaped.

Re: what was your worst fear?
My worst fear was having a complication so bad that I'd have to have them removed and never put back in, so I'd have gone through an op or two or more with scars for nothing at all and my boobs would look worse.
Re: what was your worst fear?

Re: what was your worst fear?
I didnt have any boobie fear, mine was all about the G.A & the medical complications that could happen e.g blood clot's ect ather the op & beng worried that if something did go wrong & i left 4 beautiful kiddies behind...............Id like to point out i felt the same with my hernia op & other ops i have had............
Because i was so worried about the above I didnt even get a chance to think about things like what will the scars look like ect.
After i got over the worrying about the abovemy 1st boob fear was about 3 weeks after my op & I was worried i was way to bootom heavy & that i had bottomed out or had a bottomed out look..................which i now think im getting over!

Re: what was your worst fear?
Just want to say to Highmaintainance that my nipple sensation now is exactly the same as it was before the op, no loss of feeling whatsoever.
My biggest fear was waking up in total agony and not being able to look after my 2 little ones. Fortunately that didn't happen! x

Re: what was your worst fear?
I guess my biggest fears are not getting the result I've got in my head, and taking too long to heal after therefore not being able to look after my kids (although hubby is going to take 1-2 weeks off so should be alright by then
Re: what was your worst fear?
I've never had an operation under G.A. before - so my biggest fear is being the one in a thousand people who is awake and can feel everything! Or even worse, some kind of complication and I die on the table. I'm not telling my parents about the operation and I'm really scared something will happen. I feel so selfish when I think about that!

Re: what was your worst fear?
My biggest fear was again the end result and whether they would be too big for my small frame, now 1 minute they're too big, the next they're too small, so working on the goldilocks theroy and think that eventually they'll be 'just right'
