The worst part for me definitely has to be getting up from my bed in the mornings. The rush of blood to my boobs is still so painful when i sit up. All part of the boobie journey, though, i suppose!xx

Re: worst part of your BA
recovery first week was fine - i would say its when they are starting to settle more they are more tender and uncomfortable.
i have HATED not being able to excercise - hugely affecting me and oh the fact i though they would look alot bigger than they do.

Misskaren, i agree about the exercise! I'm an exercise freak but for the past two weeks have done less walking than a tortoise in hibernation!

The worst part for me was the complete loss of dignity. I couldnt even pull my own underwear up after going to the loo. I had such a fit when I was allowed to shower again and still had to have help from hubby. It just fealt so demeaning and really got me down.

Re: worst part of your BA
I'm only 6 days post op but the worst thing for me is probably similar to you Charlii, being restricted to what I can do. My mums been having to brush my hair for me and I can't even make myself a cup of tea cos it hurts to lift the kettle. Having 'careful cuddles' with my baby brother sucks too! xx

Tiger at 'less walking than a tortoise in hibernation'.
The worst part for me was actually the emotions before BA, of guilt spending money and thoughts of dying during GA etc. now I can honestly say all totally worth it, I've had an amazing recovery so far, I feel really tuned into my body and very aware of what I can and can't do each day.x

My worst part was having to think twice before I lifted the children or walked the dog (we have a rather strong dog)!!
The restrictions were worth it but at the time they got me down a bit
